Sickener today, battered Sunderland for the most part. But two thunderbolts the 2nd in the 96th minute got the Mackems out of trouble to get a point.

We were pants until about the 85th minute.

With the chances created between the 85th and 96th minute we should have won the game.

On a separate note, how the devil did the MK ‘keeper not get sent off? Some MK fans claiming on Twitter befuddled at the suggestion it was a red. It was a very odd decision.

Harry Darling is excellent by the way.

We were one dimensional, predictable and pretty poor again but Pompey managed to be even worse.
It really is not a pleasant experience watching Evan’s side play this season.

Well, when is a 4-3 never a thriller and that was certainly a thriller. We dominated for the first 20 and the last 15, with Lincoln dominating for the 55 minutes in between.

As you might expect with this score line both sides looked good in attack, Lincoln’s first and our last were both especially good shots. Both sides looked shaky in defence. We have looked a bit ropey all year, nearly always down the left. I got the sense that Palmer was not that comfortable with the guys in front of him. Last year he was the best keeper in League 2, and our defence was porous then, but he just looked more in control. I always thought that he would make the save, yesterday I was less sure. I wonder if he could have done a bit better for Mayor’s goal which was not the greatest of shots. Palmer is a good keeper, he just did not seem to have the box dominance we witnessed last year.

I hope that Grant is okay, it was an attack on our right, two players went for it and unfortunately he got hurt. What I could not understand is why Lincoln carried on playing and attacked us on our left, it was only when we disposed Lincoln and put the ball out that he could get attention.

Lincoln got their 11th 12th penalties of the year. The first was clear, for the second I ask if any fans would have been happy with that being given against you. Is there any stattos out there, what is the most penalities any team has been awarded in a season?

We played Posh on Tuesday. The first half was very even, then they made some changes and thoroughly deserved their three goals in the second half. Obviously Peterborough have a far bigger budget, but I thought there were two key differences between them and Lincoln yesterday. First, their defence was much better organised. Second, their bench made a difference, and as you might expect with their budget. Onwards to Northampton.

I’d be sick if i were you as well after such a well played 70 minutes or so. Simply put we never turned up until the substitutions, you lot scored two well worked goals and played decent stuff. However matches are played over 90 minutes and granted we scored 2 long range efforts which got us out of jail and we had just as many chances as you with Wyke missing a good chance at 2-0 down which if he kept it down could of went in and we had 3 similar dangerous free kicks where just one good connection on goal would have went in so in truth we could have won that game as well which would have been a massive kick in the teeth for Crewe, your inability to score a third which you would of deserved cost you yesterday and in truth if you won i reckon every one of our fans wouldn’t have begrudged you of it.

Obviously it’s disappointing to have played so poorly for a large period of the game but to get a point in the way we did which could turn out to be a big point come the end of the season was welcome. Getting interesting for automatics, play offs and relegation in this league.

Injuries are crippling us at the minute. We've been missing our best two defensive players for three weeks or so now and the results have mirrored their absence (as has our defensive record, which has gone to pot as well). Been compounded slightly by also rotating our full backs every game but we'd have been able to cope with that if Walsh and Bridcutt were available.

Having to then move Grant, who's best as a '10' into a defensive midfield position takes a bit from our attacking play and we can't rest anyone because the options aren't there on the bench. The only real option we had on the bench yesterday was our first choice RB. Others were two 17 year olds, a half fit Archibald, covid recovering Jones, and two new January signings who aren't up to speed yet.

We need to dig in for the next 3 or 4 weeks until Walsh, Bridcutt, Morton and Anderson back and pray Grant's injury isn't too serious either (and also hope Jones, Archibald and Howarth get fully fit soonish so that they can actually play and not just fill the bench).

As you say, we just don't have the quality in depth of squad compared to others. We can afford to lose two or three

I think Crewe showed Sunderland far too much respect towards the end of the game. Needlessly started to panic with 15/20 minutes to go. I suspect Sunderland have gained a few points this season due to teams showing them too much respect. If Burton had Sunderland’s squad, would you be worried? Would you fuck. You need to play the team, not the club.

Also our lack of subs really didn’t help. There were some very tired legs on that pitch. We should have won, but for what seems like the millionth time this season, we fucked it.

Pleased to hear a Plymouth fan saying it wasn't a dive by Johnson for the first one, he was getting some stick off Plymouth fans on social media last night for diving.

Yeah we're incredibly short of players thanks to injury, just totally lacking in options presently.
Our luck on that front is nonexistent currently.

No is was not a dive, the second was though. Mayor was not even facing the right way to trip him.

I suspect the reason Johnston was getting stick was what happened before when we played. Even the head of the referee‘s body said it should not have been given. He has a reputation for it now, it won’t go away, but quite frankly if it was our player I would not give a toss (though I would privately admit what he was doing was morally wrong - I did when Lewis Alesandra got seven for us).

I just noticed that you are Imps and Spurs, and I am Argo and West Ham. I don’t blame you if you hated me right now
