Sounded an awful game, probably the poorer of the two sides, so take a point and move on to another short trip to Orient on Tuesday.....

Yeah I fear for you. Total control in first half for us, should have been 2 or 3 up at half time with chances missed. As expected you came out stronger early in the 2nd half without really creating anything. Very stop start 2nd half with ref blowing for a lot of free kicks. Cadamateri's goal came from his great control and killed the game off completely. Expected some big pressure from Cambridge but very comfortable afternoon. 1st half especially you really struggled with some basics. Very quiet from the home ends, like you were not expecting to come back whatsoever.

Aye, I don't blame those there, we've been dreadful all season. 2 wins in 22 for Garry Monk, not much to shout about.

Likewise, seemed alright for a ten minute spell but after that it just felt like throwing as much shit at the wall as possible and finding none of it sticks. Then Cadamarteri (we're all so bloody old) just shows how it's done.

Did sound like Lincoln fans were in fine voice on the commentary, and I can't blame em, but fuck me, we are in for a long season.

Probably our poorest performance of the season, although we did improve in the second half.

In the circumstances it's a Decent away point really.

Surely it’s got to be time to fuck him off.

Are you always as physical as that Casey?
Not the best of games but we was the only team with a bit of quality.
Won by two could have been 6
We could have had a red...........Shocking referee
I didn’t think we were particularly physical today, Williams is always a live wire in the middle but the worst challenge came from Thomason which he was booked for.
I have no idea what the reaction was from your guy in the 2nd half, went down like he had been shot and started screaming the place down, the rest of your team even looked embarrassed!

Same old same old from us, 70% possession of which we did absolutely f all with. So much ability there but we really need a manager who can make it click… and quickly.

Surely it’s got to be him to fuck him off.
I'd imagine he gets until Rotherham beat us at home on Tuesday.

Although, good news for the Ryan Loft Fan Club, he came off the bench and won a few headers.

The first 45 was great, two missed one on ones, mansfield hit the inside of the post twice, and then the penalty missed which knocked momentum out of us. Lots of slick passing and movement, actually felt like a League 1 game. When Mansfield got their first and were able to sit back, I think we ran out of ideas other than just hope Roberts or Fosu could just beat three men by themselves, set peice delivery sucked and there's no-one who can win the ball in the air so we didnt even bother to cross which left the attack very one dimensional. I'd have cloned Gregory in a heartbeat if you asked me for a good league one quality targetman.

Gregory already got 5 goals, most in the league I’m very surprised he did not put away at least two of his chances today to be honest, particularly the one straight after the goal.

Mixed emotions, should really have lead at half time - missed two golden chances, Kelman causes opponents all sorts of probems with his pace and movement, but I've seen him miss too many 1v1s like that.

Second half we slowly ran out of steam, having played so many games recently and losing Clare and Cooper to injuries during the game and tbf we didn't offer much and over played as we usually do, the game gradually petered out. Mullins and Fletcher came on and caused us problems and forced a late chance at the end.

A team with better and fresher forward options would've probably beat Wrexham today, but having picked up a few injuries after a testing few weeks and having to labour at the end, a draw and clean sheet was welcome.

Wrexham were tough to break down, but I will be cursing those misses we had in the first half.

Stockport County.
People can say Wrexham are boring but it's a good point at Orient.

We tried arsing about at the back trying to be Barcelona B at times last week and got done 4-1 by Orient.

Be interesting to watch us later at Barnsley. Think I'm going to miss the second half but my worry at the moment going into it is that we're just not keeping things simple both in terms of tactics, selection or attempted style of play.

Mansfield have made a really under the radar start and from where I'm sitting, they are sticking to what they know with personnel and style etc.

Could be a shorter term pain for what may be a longer term gain for us.

Got a feeling we may get another punch in the bollocks tonight at what is a good Barnsley side at this level. Hope I'm wrong obviously.

Think that’s mostly fair, still playing a diamond.

The new front line is a massive step up, Lee Gregory and Will Evans will cause any team in this division a lot of problems when playing well, Gregory plays 90 minutes like he’s 26 not 36. We started really well and still missing 4/5 that you probably expect to start.

No reason you cannot beat Barnsley at Oakwell, we managed it.

We have a couple of thugs in our team. Williams the worst. I personally would of sent Jeremy Kelly off today for kicking out at your player in the middle of the field but he isnt normally like that. There were a few tasty tackles today from both sides but we are not a physical team. Too many dainty players for that. Something you took full advantage of.

Didn't think we got anywhere near Bolton today. It improved when Adeyemo came on but too often we went backwards when we didn't need to. We just slowed it down and let Bolton get back into position.

I had this down as a loss even before the manager left. Onto Tuesday.

Weve got to give ourselves credit but ultimately we’ve not really hard anyone top drawer at home yet, blackpool at home next saturday will be a tester / remarkable how they’ve turned around.

Yeah our start fixture wise been friendly, that’s a definite, why it’s been so important to get the points on the board.

After all our aim is to just stay in the division initially….

Rotherham absolutely there for the taking today for Shrewsbury but once again shoot ourselves in the foot and give away a penalty, although seemed very harsh (Sam Purkiss is a terrible ref regardless of the penalty). We just can't keep throwing points away.

Only shots on target in the entire game were the 2 goals. Both keepers can wear their same kits again on Tuesday.

Thought Rotherham would be better than they were. Just a typical physical Steve Evans team. They'll need to improve to be challenging near the top which is surely their intention. We just need to improve full stop!

Absolutely and to be on 14 at this stage is remarkable, there’s going to be a time of the season when we go 3/4/5 games without a win (maybe several times) so this is like insurance for me - especially with the run of fixtures at the end of the season.

DKD really is a nightmare player for Stockport, gave them fits last season too.

Last season after 9 games Port Vale were 4th. Where are they now?
(Just saying, like)

Oh aye, it’s 14 points closer to 50, nothing more nothing less.

Nice to get early points in the board whatever league you’re in.

Sounds like we did what you do when you're a half decent L1 side and that's go to a side in the situation that Cambridge find themselves in and get a straight forward win. Should probably have been three or four, though.

Big blow to lose House after 5 minutes, for the first half we had two Academy lads up front in Draper and Makama.

Club record 13 unbeaten away from home now, the last defeat being at Blackpool on NYD when we had 12 out ...who we're at on Tuesday.
