You'll pick a team when you get there. It's always the way.

It doesn't mean the same, but when you're there you'll pick one that you want to see win.
I always root for the ref in that instance.

Accrington game off now after 8 players tested positive this morning after last nights game, so I would expect Shrewsbury Sheff Wed to go too, after they played an Accrington team riddled with it.

Dont see how we can fulfill the seasons fixtures now unless the season is extended.
And there lies the problem. The season is due to start in July because of Qatar. There is little or no wriggle room.

Given next season continues to play during the tournament, the EFL cannot use that as an excuse not to extend the season, as the tournament has no effect on League One whatsoever. Sadly the EFL are totally incompetent.

The rule they made for the postponements is a joke, teams should have been made to fill the benches with youth players.

I can half see where you're coming from but the whole EFL would become a joke then. It's turn into a glorified U21/U18 league if you weren't careful.

I think it's going to come to a point where vaccinated players are only tested if they have symptoms with unvaccinated players still being tested every day, and it might be that how many unvaccinated players you have in your squad dictates whether you can get a game postponed or not via the 14 players rule i.e. if you have a high number of unvaccinated players and you don't have 14 senior players available then that's tough shit.

And if you're a side who have a high vaccination rate and lose a handful of both to Covid then you have more grounds to get a match postponed.

Teams may have to play Sat, Tues, Thurs, Saturday. It is perfectably doable, clubs just have to get on with it. Non league and local football have been doing that forever.

I agree that teams should fill their bench with youth players or have a small number of subs. In the games we've played when hit, we've had 2 or 3 senior players, and some of them have hardly played all season anyway, backed up by a few youth players.

4-0 to Sunderland and the worst part is they’ve not even had to work for it. Complete role reversal of the game vs. them at Hillsborough.
