Being in the stand using the lights it was a piss take of the cringey torquay fans who did it home and away.. Not something we do, very nice to get revenge penalty looked harsh but keanu obviously took the criticism well. good on him! Now it's over to you Cheltenham.

Well I think FGR deserved that overall but Torquay will be pretty disappointed with the goals they conceded. Fully expected an FGR win anyway so we'll just have to do the business against Kiddy tomorrow.

Oh no, they've just shown Forest Green fans doing that cringy light thing with their phones. Any amount of money ChrisFGR and TomFgr were both involved.

To be fair, the Torquay fans did it first when they scored, ours did it to take the mickey when we equalised. Up to that point it was probably more entertaining than the football.

I think the score flattered us, for the first sixty minutes we were slow and lacking any real drive, we certainly didn't look any better than Torquay. It wasn't until the double substitution that things changed, we moved up a couple of gears and started to look like a team challenging for promotion. However, will the manager drop Parkin and Williams, who are slow and cumbersome, in the next game and start with the energetic Guthrie and Marsh-Brown...I doubt it!

HA,HA, here comes the inevitable "we only did it to take mickey" posts, FGR fans did the mobile phone thingy down at our ground as well. However to be fair, it would have been our fans that started it.

Our performances have been improving of late, there will be some money to bring a couple of players in, will it be enough who knows, thought we were the architects of our own downfall tonight, though. What was our right back doing, seemed to think he was the goalkeeper in a moment of madness, ok, a good strike from Marsh-Brown, but should never of had the time and space to get the shot off.

To be fair to Williams, he is not a right midfielder so it was no suprise he struggled out there.

Having seen Torquay twice this week away at the top two sides I'm pretty confident they'll stay up, there are so many worse teams in this league.

There's no way Torquay are going down, completely different kettle of fish to kidderminster. Cut the slack with the lights, torquay started that on boxing day!

Glad we got the three points, but to be fair I thought we were utter shite for 60 minutes. 3-1 definately flattered us. Unfortunately can't make Guiseley next week as I'm across the pond, but will be listening intently.

Looking forward to the games tomorrow now!

Strange, really, as there's been no quality in this game at all. Congratulations to Cheltenham on winning the league.

That's because it took FGR some time into the 2nd half for them to utilise their two best players, 'Confidence' and 'Quality in the final third'.

I only saw the one replay of the penalty incident and it looked clear as day. How was the Torquay player not sent off as a result?

Annoying to let it slip, in the manner we did.

Unfortunately the game was once again won by the other team being able to bring effective players off the bench - we have none. We had 7 defenders out there today which is crazy.

Really hoping for some positive news regarding incoming players before next weekend.

Lot of teams in this league being touted as too good to go down.

Will be an interesting fight to avoid the drop!

I thought that as well, the shot was at least going to be on target and their defender punched the ball away, if that isnt a red card for denial of a goalscoring opportunity what is?

Torquay looked absolutely useless twice against us (through no fault of their own, admittedly, they can only work with what they've got financially) - I don't see much hope for them, although they have improved slightly recently.

Halifax will probably ride their momentum to stay up, can see it being a dogfight between Welling, Boreham Wood, Alty, Guiseley for the remaining spots.

Did we help our cause by allowing midfielder Simon Heslop to leave the club prior to the match.

Not denying that Berry should have been carded for the handball, red would have been harsh though, the shot was from distance and the keeper was well placed to save the shot, and I fully believe would have saved it, yellow card for me would have been correct.

The timing of letting some players go has been...strange. Fisher and Fenwick could surely have been paid one more weeks wages in order to provide a bit more depth over Christmas, especially as Fisher is a big step up on Finch, when he came on at Cheltenham.

Personally though, apart from glimpses in the last couple of games, Heslop has been awful - the miss at Cheltenham is up there in the worst I've seen, so I am quite glad he has gone.

We need some more bodies in quickly - if Ajala and Daniel come in tomorrow then we need to focus on the spine of the team, in all departments, in my opinion. It may be expensive, but we'd lose more money by being relegated to the Conference South.

I was at Cheltenham as well and agree his miss was up there with the worst ever seen, however he's a natural midfielder, we can't complain at having to play 4 centre backs, when we could have kept Heslop, who hasn't been match fit, was improving all the time, and played him in this match, instead of the mighty Exodus in central midfield.

If his contract expired today, he would have been ineligible, would he not?

On current performances we will be in the mix. We desperately need Rob Atkinson back fit in defence and to bring in better quality up front to avoid the scrap.

6 points off Welling in 21st but with two games more played. You're already in the scrap.

Not if the club registered him as a non-contract player, which could well have suited both parties.

Perhaps - though I don't know if that could have been done outside of the loan/free transfer window, which shut a while back.

Still, it's done now. Just got to hope that there's positive news regarding new players over the next week.

I'm hoping we don't play 2 up front today, as it's been consistently proven over the 1.5 seasons in this division that we actually score fewer goals doing so.

We've been in it all season as the first half fixtures were kinder than the second. Without Rob in the center of defence we have shipped far more goals. Anthony Dudley up front helped balance that as he could finish. Without both we have been leaking goals and unable to score.
It's going to be extremely tough from this point onwards without good recruitment.

Our game is on. Don't understand the problem with everyone else's pitches.
