Oh what difference a few weeks make. We've just beaten 3 teams a row all above us. Before that we hadn't beaten a top 8 side for close to 2 seasons.

It's gunna be an interesting final third of the season.

Good entertaining game at Blackpool, we dictated most of the game, but they did have a few decent spells. Good to see us using subs and going for it towards the end and practically playing 4 upfront. Donervan Daniels getting injured is a big blow though, looks like his hamstring again.

March already! Which is madness. Home to Fleetwood and it's not good news on the injury front:

The outs are:
Liam Bridcutt
Joe Walsh
Calum Morton
Jorge Grant
Harry Anderson
Remy Howorth

Doubtful:
Adam Jackson
Max Sanders

We also have Theo Archibald who returns from a lengthy injury spell but nowhere near match fit. I think that's pretty much it but that leaves us really short all over, other than Howorth all are first 11 players. Not what we need but in coincides with a sticky spell on the pitch. IF we can stay in the mix until we get a couple of players back that should help us push on.
Just listened to the post match interview from Appleton. He was asked about injuries. Grant going for a scan Thursday and swelling coming down nicely, so hopefully not as bad as first thought. Joe Walsh still around 5 weeks away. Bridcutt, Anderson and Howarth he said 2 weeks and then said don't expect to see them Saturday/ Tuesday, so possibly Rochdale (H) we may see some return.

A decent but cagey game to watch tonight and a fair result.

Our injuries continue to grow as we already have Marcus McGuane out for the season, James Henry and Sam Winnall out as well, so tonight Elliott Lee and Sam Long go off injured. The squad is getting stretched.

A not unexpected 1-0 defeat, but we should/could have come away with a point. Sunderland dominated for most of the match but we, arguably, had the best couple of chances and another Twine screamer hit the bar in the final seconds.

We seem to have found a way of bringing teams down to our level - which isn’t meant in a derogatory way. Essential when fighting relegation with a limited ability squad.

No complaints, Fleetwood the better side overall although we did come back into in the last 20. Liked the look of Battye, thought he was the best player on the pitch although he faded towards the end.

Without Bridcutt and Grant we're really soft the the centre of the park, not much in the way of defensive cover without the former and without the latter no-one to make us tick. Sanders came on and looked like he could do a job in the future.

Lovely first goal by Fleetwood, good technique although the lack of closing down didn't help!

Surprised to see Morton back and grabbed himself a goal which was well taken and for the first time since September we have two strikers!!!!! Rogers needs competition which we don't have, he can do the sublime yet wastes possession.

The 'blip' continues and we have to find a way to win without Bridcutt and Grant but at the moment, I just can't see where it comes from. Thanks for your generous remarks, we did play very well at times, clearly there are times when you play a team who are out of sorts, which is what you appear to be at the moment. Michael Appleton has done a tremendous job and I really hope you can get some form back and ce
Thanks for your generous remarks, we did play very well at times. We've been unlucky in recent weeks and should have taken full points at home against the Addicks and Accy. You've know idea how welcome 3 points are.
As far as your lads are concerned, Appleti

Our squad is crying out for someone to make a statement and drag us forward amidst our injuries. Someone like a Dan Agyei, Liam Kelly or even more unexpected Chambers-Parrilon who whilst unlikely this season looks an excellent prospect and might be forced into action.

I don’t think we did too badly last night. Peterborough definitely had more quality however I think much of that was momentum, confidence and a winning mentality which has seem them to the top of the table.

The effort was brilliant. We showed a lot of heart to get a point. Much, much better.

Chambers-Parillion is back from his loan I believe although that may change if they have this mini league in NL regional divisions. I'd like Tyler Goodrham to be added to the 1st team bubble as a back up/option off the bench as whilst he has only played youth football or in the Pizza Trophy he has potential imo.

Spasov and Lofthouse are still at Woking I think.

It really is a time for one of the fringe players like Agyei or Kelly to step up and grab the chance and say I'm good enough to be a regualr starter.
