I know we've been away a long time but have Peterborough been this big headed for a while? Is this because of a handful of yo yo seasons in the Championship? Peterborough! They weren't even a league team until the 60s.

As a frequent endurer of our dear neighbours' incoherent ramblings, yes, they have been for quite some time.

And to think the dodgy money came in on the back of that Big Ron Manager documentary is something some of their newer fans may do well to revisit.

Honestly I think the new deal from Sky has been a complete fail. The 12:30 fixtures are like made from toddlers. They just chuck any random game on Sky and go "Yeah that'll do. All games should be on a Saturday 3pm Kick off not like Friday, Sunday or even Monday night fixtures.

Kinda of has to be though, doesn't it? You're not getting Crawley and Burton on 20 times a season unless they're playing a Cambridge and Co at some point.

That said, they picked Burton v Cambridge last year in what can only be assumed to be a complete cock up somewhere along way.

Pretty well. The odd shaky moment, but generally pretty solid.

We've only let in two goals in six games, so the defence as a whole aren't doing badly, and McNicholas gets a share of the credit for this. Thanks for loaning him!

In all honesty, the way they were before the game, certainly on the old socials, they came across as all berty big bollocks and said they'd rip us a new arsehole. I don't think they'd beat us even if we are not there. After the game, they don't want to give us any credit for the way we set up against them to get a result, it was all about how naïve they were and underwhelming their performances was.

Nice to stick it to them, they all soon pissed off never to come back again.
