Well I can’t believe we are winning 2-0, still think we will lose but Tranmere have had so much possession but look as clueless as we normally do in the 18 yard box

What did I tell you?

We were much the better team in the first half, but the Hawkes long-distance effort well-saved by your keeper and Bristow’s shot against the post were the closest we came to scoring. Didn’t see the first goal clearly, the second was a defensive shambles and we never looked like getting back into the game, though had Walker’s effort against the woodwork gone in, it might have been an interesting finish. TRFC are the team you need to be up
against when on a bad run!

Even more entertaining to see Wrexham out, I know our players got really riled up by their lot last season so Billy Sharp's comments tonight are no surprise

Our Attack and Midfield ran the show first half. Our Midfield and Defence battled while Luton ran the show in the second half, without actually doing much.

First goal, Close’s shot hit one of your defenders and it looped over the keeper’s head, total luck, which we definitely needed, the second came from us putting your defence under pressure for the first time in the match but I wouldn’t have been happy with the defending if it had been at the other end. Ah well off to Swindon for a spanking on Saturday

Crewe were absolutely shocking. Don’t think their pig of a pitch does them any favours either. Think they’re going to need every point of their current cushion over the bottom two. 5/10 for us and it was more than enough.

Up until Orient scored in either half we were OK, but do we like to gift goals, ffs. O's looked a solid side and worthy of top spot. Fear we might be that team that drops from mid table into a relegation battle, next couple of matches are massive for us in trying to keep away from trouble.

It is ridiculous that we lost that game last night. We were clearly the better side for the majority, but paid for individual errors at the back, particularly for the second goal. Luck is deserting us at the moment as well and we again hit the woodwork twice.

I thought our midfield played well and Hendry was excellent, but the strikers were ineffective again. Saunders works hard and may come good but Hemmings simply has not offered enough since arriving, despite his career stats.
