Chester are terrible, come to Prenton Park with a very basic game plan of 11 men behind the ball and roll over when any Tranmere player goes near them.

We are playing fairly well, but unfortunately wasteful from Norwood with some cracking saves from their keeper. A very intriguing moment where Norwood was brought down, red and penno for their keeper? No ref bottled it and gave Norwood a yellow for a dive.

Imagine Chester will play same way second half and hope they get a couple free kicks/corners.

I think Norwood at high risk of getting himself sent off. Thought he was unlucky to get booked, but didn’t have a clear view of it.

If we had an attacking line up today id fancy it to be an absolute thriller. 5-2 or something. Unfortunately we are going to try and out defend them and score a 80+ minute winner.. which we can't keep doing

What I tell ya, BANKER, love a 90 minute winner us like :ds:

Sutton 2 AFC Fylde 1. Sutton scored twice within 2 minutes towards the end of the first half via Craig Dundas and an own goal after a brilliant run and cross from Josh Taylor. Not the most entertaining game and Fylde got themselves back in it with 5 minutes to go, but we held out

Bromley win away twice in a week. Up to sixth and the next two games are at home. This league really is wide open.

Baffled how we haven't won that by a comfortable margin let alone 0-0.

Dominated the game start to finish, done everything but stick the ball in the net. Chester keeper has had the game of his life and make 5+ world class saves.

Got to play to the same standard against Aldershot as surely they won't have every player behind the ball and it'll be more open..

Does that make us the first team to win when top of the league?

Who'd of thought we'd be struggling to shake off Dover and Woking to break clear after 15 games!

I thought Chester were very fortunate to get a point. Other than the first fifteen minutes of the second half they did not contribute much and we missed six or seven good chances. Poor finishing cost us again - ninth game we have failed to score in this season.

Some people "have heard" that Orient are bringing 500, purely for the novelty of a new ground - not sure how that works, because the normal away section can only (legally) hold about 400.

Also, you won't lose.
We brought about 450 for the 4-3 comeback game.

This league is a bit easy.

Thought Dagenham’s attack was supposed to be the best in the division?

Look on the bright side: at least Hines is already on 6 goals as a midfielder, 8 in all comps

Thought we generally dominated really without creating much, standard. Much more threatening after Mackreth came on and Kelly moved to the middle.
Deserved win.

I'll definitely take a point away at Maidstone right now. Lots of room to improve and more new players to come in.

Pools and Jonathan Franks like a late goal dont they?

Oh fuck yeah, long may it continue.

We're actually quite fucking dire, must be one of the worst sides we've ever had in terms of individual ability, but the work they're putting in and the amends they're trying to make after the home loss against Fylde, whatever that motivation may be, it was a massive turning point. Everyone is putting their bollocks on the line. That's something I've not seen since were a solid L1 side until 5/6 years ago, but a quality we need now in a league where everyone wants to do us.

Harrison is winning me over, think he wants nice, free flowing football, but knows we're dire at the back so pick your harder working midfielders/forwards in there, limit the space and have faith in some of the good players we have at this level to stand up and deliver. It's not pretty, but now the priority is to make sure we do enough to climb the table. Later on, get the champagne football out if we're in or around the top Just get us up and around there and that's all we ask.

We looked at different side once Mackreth came on for Carra and Kelly who is the one player who can create something from nothing moved into cm. Boden's confidence looks shot to pieces but he would have benefited from have a winger with pace delivering crosses rather thanot feeding off scraps. Thought we were crap 1st half and only came good as a result of the switch. Deserved 3 points based on what we did from then. Rip Jacko.

You fully deserved the win Jared, hopefully we're good enough to stay up. Good luck for the season

You should copy and paste this and then use it after every game you don't win, same as last season.

That's a bit harsh. There's nothing in there about them being reffed out or picking up another injury. Or that it was Brabin's fault.

Bignot did the same at our place last season with Solihull and got a 0-0.

Today was the 3rd time in 4 games we have been leading at half time and drawn. If we want to be fighting for playoffs/promotion we have to stop throwing points away. At some stage the top teams will go on a winning run and if we don't sort ourselves out we'll fall away quickly.

Also, given that 4 of the 5 in the best defence from last season started today, I have no idea how why our defence is now so open. Last season we'd have either closed that game out and won 2-1 or won 3-1.

On the plus side, our midfielders seem to be able to score for fun at the moment.

Fylde played some decent Football at times, and I thought we did a good job at containing Rowe. Good luck for the rest of the season (other than our visit )
