I heard we had sold just under 4,200 which is up by about 700 on last season already.
A lot of floaters will be waiting on who we bring in. We have already paid for a player so signs look promising as we normally just get frees.
I would hope that barring a few winter midweeks our match day attendance won't drop below 5,300

Is there anyone else who hasn't signed any players yet - or even not had a rumour of anyone joining.

:bye: Us, we haven't signed anyone, only the odd rumour floating about. Looks like we have plenty of dosh, though Danny Cowley seems like he doesn't part easily with it. Though that's not a bad thing TBH, we will do our deals when the asking price comes down to more realistic levels.

So annoying that people gauge success on their signings.... whatever happened to the close association of your local team and those high schools providing apprentices of the future playing in hope of one day getting the call to represent their local home team.
A good grounding first before having their head turned by poaching parasites from above!!!

This. But that hasn't been the case since the late 80's I think.

Sorry shoddy...bit of a dinosaur me...what is eppp?....
it's a shame cause if kids were encouraged to take school seriously if they wanted to take up a career in sport then most of the bad'uns aged between 14 and 16 might take curfews seriously and get them off street corners and mixing with the wrong sorts.
Revered Oakey out and drops the mic....

Elite Player Performance Plan. Where by in simple terms a top club can come along and steal your homegrown player for nothing after you have built them since 7!

EPPP put paid to any hope of even something resembling that returning.

Looks like the manager situation could be sorted - that'll mean an extra 4 or 5 STs!

Were just over 3000 so far. Down from around 4200 last season but early bird deadline extended. If we can get a few decent signings in soonish we might hit 3500 which all thing said isn't bad at all. I'm in a fairly decent number still planning to boycott home games however. Expect our average to be down from 6500 ish to around 4800 next season

I think we have just gone over 3000, well down on last year.
There's a boycott ATM, but watch them fly back if we start well. New owners and the season tickets will fly off the shelves apparently, well that's what the boycotters say.

Yeah, a big part of the injustice of it is that the price you get for them doesn't factor in the amount of players you have to bring through who don't make it in order to get that one that does.

Its not often as a Lincoln fan we can be bullish about stuff on or off the field. However the club have said we have sold 4200 ST's in the 4 or so weeks since they went on sale. That is about 3000 more than our sales last season with a couple of weeks to go before our first early purchase deadline.

Been reading that the Cods haven't even got ticket sales started yet? Find that a bit strange when the seasons been over a considerable time for most.

How are other clubs going on sales, will we be in the top 3 in something at least?

The Lincoln figure doesn't surprise me. Back in the league after a very long absence and an unbelievable cup run. The city must be buzzing around the football club at the moment. A great opportunity to increase your supporter base over the long term.
As for Luton. Have no idea how many we've sold. Would imagine will be around the same level as last year. We always seem to fall at the last hurdle and the fans may have the same optimism pre season.

I'd be surprised if we sold less than 5,000 seat tickets again this season - probably around 5,300.

It's surprised all of us! I dont think we've ever sold more than 2000-2500 before in the days when Keith Alexander was in charge.

At the end of our early bird deadline (31st May) we had sold 1,076.

Down on last season, but no surprise really.

How's the finances at your place now?
We're being propped up to the tune of 200k each month apparently which is adding to the huge debts we already have.

Wage budget has been slashed but low ST sales have in effect made any savings from that minimal. We will have to wait and see but I'm sure they will be praying we do well next season and the boycotters return

£200k per month?! Bloody hell, who's your accountant? Diane Abbott?*

In seriousness, that's some effort as losing £2.4m per year means your wage bill must be enormous.
