I defy any team to be losing 5 first team definites for a long period, that said it is a squad game and our squad is horrific.
The mish mash and inconsistencies of selection have caused this fiasco. Kelly for example, not even on the bench to a regular, Shalaj seen less often than Shergar, we are now 6 points off the drop and sinking like a stone, simply cannot lose to relegation rivals Chesterfield or Oldham over crimbo/ New Year.

Very true and the players we have lost are key one with experience and doubt many others would cope well with that kind of experience and quality missing either, problem is the replacements whilst some are talented and have shown glimpses of quality, they are all kids with little experience in the UK. I read Wimbledon literally breezed through our non existent midfield... they certainly wouldn't have had it so easy with Granty and or Foley in there but we've got two AC Monaco youth lads together in there whereas ideally you'd only have one at a time developing alongside one of the more experienced lads.

The side on Saturday included 2 over 23's one of whom has barely 20 English football apps so do appreciate the difficulty we've had with that and for players used to away games at the Stadio De Luz and Dragao we knew they would struggle if all thrown in together at places like the Kingsmeadow against a physical side like AFC Wimbledon.

My issue with Bruno however is that he persists with systems that are not working, Northampton exposed us with zonal marking despite us being the better side and so he goes to and even bigger side physically and does the same thing to disastrous results, also we have a young Portuguese kid on less than 10 UK appearances at Left Back, and a 32 year old Premier League Right back yet all our problems came from the right on Saturday it seemed (as it did against Northampton!) is it a fault with Ryan Taylor? Is he getting caught up field too much? I could understand if Kiko was struggling with it but not Taylor so much!

Hopefully with Jerome Thomas, Ben Purkiss and Anthony Grant all expected back against Walsall at least we can stop the rot as that's got to be 800-1000 apps of experience and much superior quality coming into the side.

Game of opinions, my opinion is Taylor has offered zilch. People talk about his quality at set pieces and corners, when ?
Against Cobblers the decent Taylor was Matt not Ryan, there is more to meets the eye with Purkiss as this mystery shoulder injury has only just come to light.
Knopps was a steady eddie now jettisoned to obscurity, and if Bruno has the sack then Michael Browns' interview on saturday was woeful, he didn,t seem to have a clue, yes we had been knobbed 4-0 but there was no passion or oomph in his voice.
Nigel Adkins come on down. Yes wasn,t great at Sheff Utd but proven at Scunny where he did a brilliant job and has bags of experience at this level, being a mate of Mourinho does not mean you are a good manager, and where has he tapped into the United youngsters?
Not a prayer of keeping Jones in January and Smith probably going too, dear oh dear what a mess we are going to be in .

To be honest I thought Brown came across ok, just seems distraught in his voice and rightly so... although they should of cancelled the London Xmas party after that lack of effort and application!

Every fan who went to the match will get a free ticket to the Chesterfield or Huddersfield game or if a season ticket holder can watch the game in the corporate seating.

Great gesture to those fans who had to endure that!
