Genuinely chuffed to bits with how we played yesterday.

The closing down, the improved fitness, the performance in general was excellent, even macca looked like a footballer yesterday.

You could see that was the aim in the performances of forest green and Plymouth - though maybe the fitness element hindered us in those games.

The new lad in midfield was excellent also

I thought Maynard and Rose in particular gave everything in the tank, I’ve heard some unfair criticism of Maynard but to me he gives 100%.

I thought the whole team was excellent. If I was searching really hard for criticism, I might say that Bobby made a poor decision to catch that back-pass from Pearce and that Charsley and Hamilton could have been ruthless when they got into good positions.

It was way better than anything I've seen this season though.

I have confidence in this manager. Although we've not had the upturn in results yet, my gut says he's going to be a good manager for us.

Agree re Bobby, stupid mistake but how good was it to see a goalkeeper catching crosses? Heavenly.

Had to laugh when I saw this. Suppose we all know the feeling.

LOL. Yeah it's a cracker and I don't think I've seen a better goal in L2 this season, but that is a tad OTT isn't it. It's only a goal in a league game ffs, and not some winning goal in the 119th min of a play off final.
