The only way I could see him being 'undermined' is that he was basically told a resignation looks better than a sacking on his CV.
But if thats the case, his card was marked way before that game so it has little impact on what he did. Seems to be a common theme of Young claiming to be undermined when his back is against the wall. Said that was the case at Chester apparently which I honestly can't see and if he's said that for us again then so be it.
As I said in my earlier post, he was probably the first manager not to be influenced or have dodgy board decisions as a factor of his failings.
