Yeah, totally agree. That his future is reportedly up in the air is mystifying.

Who are they going to attract who'd be better? Could draft a QB this year but they're sinking money into Osweiler for 2017, and you're gonna be working with Smith, the guy who wanted Osweiler (again, reportedly). Would be a joke of a firing and O'Brien would likely be a top name to walk into another HC gig straight away.
