T.O is in the hall of fame long overdue in my opinion but the 2018 class looks really strong overall with both Lewis and Moss also in it as well

Really pleased for Randy Moss that he got in and agreed it’s about time on T.O. I know he was a somewhat disruptive influence (well very at times) but the numbers speak for themselves.

Just a real shame personally speaking that Ty Law just missed out. Was one of the biggest reasons behind the Pats success in the early 2000’s. Certainly went a long way to explain Peyton Mannings struggles against us in them years.

Probably go to Denver but if I was him I'd be looking at Arizona. Get Larry Fitz back for another year and in David Johnson an elite running back. Denver are going through some upheaval I think, not guaranteed that Sanders and Thomas will be back and will quite likely move on from Talib on the other side of the ball. That said after seeing Alex Smiths contract extension Cousins is going to get a monster deal and Jimmy G will be not a million miles behind either.

Cardinals are almost at the point of a rebuild, I thought they kidded themselves they had a big chance in 2017. They'll have a new HC, a 35 year old now-slot-receiver Fitz, and their best player is coming off a pretty much entire missed season - Cousins would be daft to pitch up there for the best chance to win. Vikings (if they don't sell themselves on Keenum or Bridgewater), Jacksonville followed by Denver look like the the clearest best win-now opportunities. I'd even say maybe the Giants are better primed for a win-now setup than the Cardinals.

--------

Glad Owens got in too. Feels like they recognised they fucked up last year, and that the silly reasoning they gave for TO's snub last year actually would/should have been applied to Moss this year...

Reeling from the effects of a stag day yesterday so having a quiet one in tonight. Haven't got the stamina for two big nights in a row these days!

The Owens excuses always came across as BS really he should of been a 1st ballot especially considering two of his fellow 2018 classmates.

Urgh that was a shuddering hit on Cooks. Perfectly legal though just to say, was a great play by Jenkins.

Jeez, both teams kickers leaving what could be crucial points on the board.

Fair play to the Pats, showing all their talent and nous to stick with the Eagles. You get the sense that the Eagles have played really well and the Pats really poorly and the score is only 15-12. The Patriots man, the freaking Patriots. Shaping up to be a cracking 2nd half.

Mental toughness JJ. Remains to be seen if we will win but while there are multiple teams more talented than us they know how to make it hard for the opposition and take advantage when a mistake comes. Whatever the sport that is the difference between good and great.

That’s a combination of great play from Clement and some shocking attempts at tackling from the Pats D.

Surprised how effective Philly have been in the run game so far, was fully expecting Patriots to shut that down and put it all on Foles, not that he's not playing a great game, one or two overthrows aside. This is shaping up to be a cracker.

Huge conversion that!

Sometimes you just have to applaud the opposition. That play is one of them.

Eagles been easily the better team, but we've seen this before. Been a good game so far.

Looking at the stats at half time the big standout is the difference in third down conversion. That’s why Philly are full value for the lead.

If the Pats are within a score going into the final quarter I’m still pretty confident of the win.

Great game though regardless.

About this time last year with us trailing the Falcons at half time I remember wishing an asteroid strike on those fake fans on the field. One year further forward and nothing has changed.

Comfortably the worst halftime show I've ever seen :)

This is the first time I have watched a Superbowl right the way through and man, what a weird spectacle it is. 1st half of a major final, break for a 20 minute pop concert, then back to the 2nd half. Only in America would this be deemed normal.

For all Phillys dominance we’d be leading this if Gostkowski didn’t have a 50p shaped right foot.

Good start though. Have been impressed with the Pats O-Line tonight. They’ve stepped up.

"So far this game we've seen more passes to QBs than punts"

It’s never usually the lost notable attribute until it goes wrong but the offensive line play tonight has been special from both teams.

I'm glad that stood...but it's not exactly consistency is it?

And it does but I have to be honest there really is no consistency on this even after review.

Not saying I disagree with the decision but it really is make it up as you go along.

If it weren’t for the fact that Patricia is off to coach the Lions after tonight seriously I’d be calling for his firing for this showing on defence.
