Some bad rookie mistakes from Darnold on the final 2 drives. That first pick was just brutal. But then, that 4th down conversion was superb. Clearly still a work in progress.

You can see the Browns doing something against the Raiders next week. Be interesting to see how far they can go this season. Amongst all the records and streaks they have broken tonight, this is the first time they've gone undefeated in their first 2 home games since 2004.

Mayfield looks legit. Some really tough throws against a good defence, looked really poised and was getting chunk play after chunk play. His box score doesn't reflect how good he actually was. Definitely rooting for the Browns this season.

I can see 4 wins for the Browns Mayfield was very impressive but other than that I think Ward has been a really great pick especially the criticism the Browns got for picking him over Chubb.

Agreed, that 29 yarder he completed to Landry down to the 1 yard line was a thing of beauty. Even a fraction off line and that was getting picked. Would also say his ability to make the correct reads was really good and the general lift he gave to the team when he came into the game. Highly impressive debut.

Of course Cleveland being Cleveland watch them go and announce Tyrod is still the starter. I have to admit I do feel a bit sorry for him as he is a more than serviceable QB and should have two wins himself this season on his resume if not for the kicker but Baker has to be the right call now.

Darnold by comparison I thought had a tough night albeit what is shaping up to be a very good defence. He does need to learn to go through his progressions better as he does have the habit of locking on to his first read but it is only his third game and should get better over time.

Buffalo should have players quit the team at half time every week if this is the effect. Bit of a coupon buster this one.

Looks like we have another top notch wide out in ridley, great numbers in this game and only 1st half

We'll see when the weather gets colder etc but I'm not sure how you can scheme to stop this KC offence. Andy Reid is as good as they come on that side of the ball and with weapons like Hill and Kelce I don't see how you can slow them down.

Alex Smith is having himself some game today. I always feel he's been unfairly labelled for just being a checkdown merchant but he's certainly flinging it today. Comprehensively outplaying (albeit injured) Aaron Rodgers.

Always been a defender of Bill O’Brien but beginning to think change is needed.

Play calls are so uninspiring, too many flags each week, just a few examples of glaringly bad coaching.

Feel bad for Jimmy G, early reports suggest he's done the ACL. Can pretty much call it season over for the niners if that is the case.

Rams meanwhile continue to look the best all round team in the league. Benefit of having a franchise QB on a rookie contract.

The whole Pats team has obtained access to Josh Gordons stash. Its the only explanation for this abomination of a performance.

Didn't expect this one thought the Bills had a really tough opening 4 weeks so picking off a win against the Vikings is definately unexpected also I thought Allen looked really good.

Rumours that the Steelers are listening to trade offers for Artie Burns - hahaha, good luck with that.*

*Please prove me wrong and make a play tonight.

This Rams offense is crazy good, but it's bemusing what has happened to our defense, stretching back to the end of last season. Offense has stepped up tonight and last Sunday was clearly an off week for them, but we're going nowhere this year unless we can start playing the deep ball.

Lions for me. Nothing will ever top that Steelers bumblebee one they used to wear though.

Solid first half from the Pats so far. Defensively looked very good. Offense not so brilliant in the passing game at least, Sony Michel has impressed though.

I quite like the Packers throwback tbf, the Lions all grey is just horrific however.

Quite how Skip Bayless is going to try and defend this Cowboys performance tomorrow will be great viewing. Get the popcorn ready.

Love this from Mike Vrabel to go for it on fourth down there in overtime whether it pays off or not.

Good win for the Pats tonight. Dolphins frankly looked a bit of a fraud team beating up on ordinary opposition previously and did not look ready to play today especially Tannehill who put in his usual Foxborough performance.

Edit - and it pays off for the Titans, great win for them.

I love coaches who are brave but sometimes there is a fine line between bravery and stupidity and Indy just crossed it there. Way to throw a game away.

Can’t believe it took the Texans so long to win at Indy, happy hunting ground for us now.

Much improved but the O-line still giving away penalties and protection of Watson is non existent. Thank god we have a QB that can actually move and throw on the run.

The secondary being shredded by Indy’s second string is a worry too but just happy to get a win.

Patrick Mahomes on the run against Von Miller of all people completing a major third down conversion left handed is one of the greatest plays I can remember seeing. Outstanding!

Did it the hard way again but will take it. That pass and then run from Hopkins to take us into FG position in OT was a delight.

Two wins against Dallas in the last couple of months, undisputed Kings of Texas.
