This has been my fear for him. Playing behind a substandard OL damaged Andrew Lucks career and can see this going the same way.

DK Metcalf on the other hand making some plays. Quite liked the idea of drafting him if he fell to the Pats, nice situation for him with Russ throwing him the ball. As is Hock to be fair.

Loved watching that until like 3 or 4am last night. One of them games that a neutral would switch off and go hoover out the car or summat instead but I was raight happy.

Allen was shit first half but stepped up second. Darnold was below average most of the game iirc. Never as bad as Allen's worst but never as good as his best. Reckon that's a microcosm of how their careers will play out tbh.

Bell looked class though, both running and receiving. Dunno about his numbers but just how effortless he looked in doing what he does, how good he is at it, and how fearful I was of him doing it. Clear standout on that Jets offense.

Comprehensive win for the Pats last night. There’ll be a lot of talk for obvious reasons about our receivers now but the strength of this team is in the secondary and they locked the Steelers down. Now got the AB circus to look forward to in Miami next week.

Now that said I would err to it being more bad Steelers than great Patriots. Thought their coaching was dismal. How on earth when you are 4th and goal at the 1 yard line and 20-0 down you bring out the field goal unit is beyond me. That’s without mentioning some of their adventures in their secondary. Letting Dorsett just stroll through the Safeties or not tackling Josh Gordon was just basic stuff.

I thought Allen moved the chains fairly well I don't think either Darnold or Allen was anywhere near there best particular pleasing with Allen was the short and intermediate passing an area that needed a lot of improving and it seems to have happened in the off season 64% completion is more than acceptable I think the first 3 games will be really interesting to see where the Bills measure up facing the Giants and Bengals

Second half of that Saints game was epic, briefly had me scared for my fantasy matchup but luckily it didn't get too out of hand. Brees in the clutch, phenomenal, feels like Lutz has a habit of making these sort of long game winners too.

Raiders have looked good, scoreline (whatever it is from here with two minutes left) doesn't reflect how well they've played.

I would be very surprised if he isn't placed on the exempt list by Goodell by the weekend.
