4 game suspension upheld for Brady. Glad for a change to see suspensions upheld rather than cop-out reductions.

The science is shaky on both sides and probably a sign it's not able to be conclusive either way (let alone disputed readings of balls in teh first place), but on Brady's lack of co-operation, "not turning in his phone" has seemingly turned into "destroyed his phone".

Aye I'll play, chance to defend my (admittedly somewhat lucky) championship.

Any thoughts on how things looking for the new season for our respective teams? A number of the Pats players are looking like the walking wounded already in training camp. I'm very excited at the thought of us lining up with Gronk and Chandler at TE, could be a serious match-up nightmare like we used to have when it was Gronk and Hernandez. Obviously it's hard to know too much especially as don't yet know who the starting QB will be on opening day. For what it's worth if it's Garoppolo then that's far from the worst situation to be in but obviously hope justice is done and TFB gets completely exonerated.

Defensively the secondary undoubtedly weaker but if you lose a Revis and a Browner it always will. One thing I do like is our LB unit is as good as it gets. Hightower, Mayo and Collins is pretty exceptional especially the latter who just gets better by the week. Good thing though is none of the other AFCE teams will exploit the secondary weakness with their no better than ordinary QB's.

On a wider scale I see a lot of people tipping the Colts to go all the way. I must be missing something here. That team can't defend the run and they look no better there as of yet. It's all very well adding more to the offense (which was plenty potent already) but if you only focus on one side of the ball you'll get found out. It's like the entire Peyton Manning era in Indy all over again. Hard to see past Seattle or Ravens personally though still early days.

Okies. Not sure who is missing from last year, or if some peeps didn't make it over from the old place, so I've just deleted the old league and started a new one. 12 spots, and 11 have said yes so far. If a couple more turn up and we have to go up to 14 spots or more we can sort dat.

Channel 4 no longer have the rights to Sunday Night Football. No more Carlson and with Sky getting Monday Night Football, even more Neil Reynolds for Bish. The world isn't fair.
