Fairly happy with Steelers week 1 the really interesting one is Jets @ Panthers the Sam Darnold revenge game is week One.

London Games are Jets @ Falcons and Phins @ Jags.

That’s a nasty one start with. Would have thought they could have given you a divisional game. We’ve got the Fins at home so that will a difficult one. Also looks like Brady makes his return in week 4, am kinda glad that will be out the way early.

Don’t think there’s anything official other than Jonathan Kraft said they were getting good signs from the governor of MA.

It’ll be strange. Am sure Brady will get a warm welcome. Gronk will get rather more a mixed one as a lot of Pats fans didn’t take too kindly to him dragging out his retirement then his whole comeback. I think BB will be more keen to prove a point to Arians than put one over Brady. He has a little too much say for himself. Suppose it’ll be the same for Cam when we go to Carolina as well.

One of our beat reporters has posted the full leaked schedule for us. No Bills game til very late on which could be interesting if the division goes to the wire.

The NFL have done a cracking job keeping these under wraps ahead of the scheduled big reveal Happens every single year it gets out early.

That’s quite a friendly turnaround for you before our first game. Bit of a strange one getting presumably the prime time Thanksgiving game against the Saints mainly as not sure they will be that good now Brees has retired.

I’m not sure how I feel about our week 14 bye either. That is really late for starters and also this is going to knacker up fantasy football playoffs also if having byes then.

It was never going to stay a secret far to many eyes get to see the schedule for it not to be leaked On the Saints I would agree there is a major question mark on them especially on Winston being able to replace Brees without giving away a ton of interceptions but really gives us the most friendly turn around before playing the Pats without a bye

Of the rookie QB’s I think the only two guaranteed to play are Lawrence and Wilson. Of those two I refuse to believe the Jets will do anything right so have to go for the boring answer of Lawrence. Fields may well play a bit later in the season. Mac Jones despite what some media people in Boston with their obvious agendas are saying won’t see the field at all and I think the same is true of Lance.

The best player for me is Pitts though the one I’m very intrigued how it goes is Rashod Bateman in Baltimore. Their passing attack has been their weakness for a while but he should if Lamar can step up improve it a lot.

Trey Lance has been throwing dimes from the limited exposure I've seen of 9ers camp so far. Due to how competitive that NFC West is, I could see Kyle Shanahan turning to Lance if they're slow out of the blocks.

Nice to have football back, even if it was just the HOF game last night.

This Bama team are just a cheat code on both D and O. Book them in for the National Championship now and probably about 6 first rounders in the next draft. For QB’s elsewhere Desmond Ridder is putting on a show. Not been convinced with Rattler, threw for a lot of yards but Oklahoma nearly lost to unranked Tulane and he threw two picks.

Looking forward to the start of the NFL season next week. Still not totally convinced we are doing the right thing going with Mac and especially releasing Cam. Mac has been very impressive but I keep coming back to its the pre-season and teams don’t game plan against you. I do love our D though. That front we have now I think Brady could be in for a rough night in week 4 if BB has anything to do with it.

Bama I think you can book them into the final absolutely destroyed Miami U who I thought might have asked more questions of can't say I was that impressed with Clemson either it's hard to see who is going to be the big challenge to Bama on Ridder he could be the big QB riser like Wilson and Burrow before him

On Pats yeah it is interesting going all out on Jones and cutting Cam was an interesting roster move still think there is major questions of the Pats Offensive strength felt like they overpaid on Tight end and Wide receiver there don't seem to be a No1 or depth on Defense they should be as strong as usual.

I could see Ridder going all the way to the top of next years draft to be honest (let’s be honest it’ll be Houston picking). The one who’ll probably want this weekend back is Sam Howell who is the other one who is really highly rated. Did not look good at all against Virginia Tech. I know his OL didn’t help but they won’t be factoring that in when it comes to the Heisman.

I agree with you about overpaying at WR and as it happens I’m picking Jakobi Meyers to be our leading receiver this season, this kid has really developed. Was pleased we managed to sneak Wilkerson on to the practise squad too. TE if Jonnu Smith stays healthy he is the big one as you can have multiple play designs with him even lining up in the backfield.

The Pats O will go as the running game does, one of the best OL’s in the league and a very high quality running back room. Not one you’d be high on in fantasy football as BB always does it by committee but Harris, Stephenson, Taylor and White are all really impressive in their own ways.

A ground and pound Offense make a lot of sense between the receivers and having a rookie QB you don't want to put to much on.
It will be interesting to see how Jones does in his first start especially as he will be against Tua who he backed up at Bama

I think that's the most rookies I've ever drafted with the intention of actually playing them regularly. Pitts is a bit of a reach but also could just as easily pay off big time.
