Jets in 2nd place in the Afc East as well it does seem Jets are decent at least not the outright terrible of most of the last decade.

On the Bills was a really good offensive performance especially as we had a number of starters out the Chiefs game should be great hopefully we can get some more starters back especially DB's

Great win it's just watching Bills Vs Chiefs is so stressful But I would expect we will be seeing the Chiefs in the Post Season Also Von Miller is looking a bargain having an Elite Pass Rusher is such a game changer Well we head into the Bye now also we should have Tre back soon which will be a major plus.

A lot of uninspiring games this weekend too btw! Unless I'm just tired as I look at them. Chiefs v 49ers the definite standout. Colts v Titans not bad either I guess, divisional rivalry.

Also looking at everyone's records so far it seems kinda wild how many teams are between 4-2, 3-3, and 2-4. A lot of mediocrity on display so far this season, to me.

Agree with you about the season as a whole. I suppose it depends how you look at it with the amount of parity, it’s a good thing for keeping peoples interest but then does indicate a lack of quality play. As it happens the more the season has gone on it’s the AFCE and NFCE which are proving to be the better divisions right now. Basically being what many including myself thought the AFCW was going to be.

Yep, looking at the standings of all teams there are four above and five below the other 23(!) who are 4-2, 3-3, or 2-4. Maybe this is standard at this point in a season, I dunno. Might need a couple more weeks for teams to stretch out their records a bit more, be that positively or negatively.

But I've definitely noticed teams being very inconsistent and winning and losing games they on paper shouldn't be (49ers losing to Falcons, Ravens losing to Giants, Packers losing to Giants spring to mind) maybe more so than in recent seasons.

And yeah, I was fooled pre-season by the AFC West too. Thought it was gonna be a 3-way bloodbath with the Raiders not bad either with Adams. But it's turned out the Chiefs clearly the best, the Chargers a pretender who ain't really on KC's level, and Denver and LV being some way off. Same as the last few seasons then!

I've watched a few MNFs and TNFs on me phone at work this season coz I work nights at an Amazon warehouse and we really ain't been busy this year at all. So I've seen Russell Wilson stink it up a few times.

It's not all hype. He really has been bad.

Problem is the Denver D is pretty good so they stifle the other team which makes the games overall really unentertaining haha. Hence like 12-9 results when they play.

Mildly funny story, it was WEIRD the other week when I was sat getting paid to watch a game on Sky Go (via Prime Video) and Bezos appeared on screen in the crowd. I nearly put me phone down and pretended I was busy

Yeah, I feel sorry for Mac. He comes back (maybe too early) off a high ankle sprain and his LT commits drive killing penalties on the first drive then has Damien Harris dropping simple catches. Zappe comes in and the first TD throw was a bad throw just Meyers is now becoming a really good receiver himself to save the day. The Parker throw was a beauty.

It was a very watchable half of football tbf. Interesting conditions and sounds like a good atmosphere in there. Credit to the Bears for coming back and retaking the lead after you guys had taken all the momentum too.

Yep the Bears O has been surprisingly very good. We do have a habit of struggling against these sort of mobile QB’s which obviously bodes well given the other QB’s in our division.

I reckon so. Zappe is very limited and saw the first time tonight what he looked like when trailing and the running game not working. As it happens the QB will be the focus understandably but for me it was the other side of the ball that was the bigger worry. Not being able to get off the field on so many third and longs you just can’t win doing that.

Good going Chicago though, operated a really smart gameplan I thought.

Results went just about perfectly for us on a day we didn't play with the Dolphins and Chiefs both losing and with that we are currently are the No1 seed

Another win but the O-line concerns me a lot not only don't they give Allen enough protection but the penalties as well but Jets Defence does look legit Also Milano made the biggest clean QB hit I think I have seen and the Chargers did us a favour and beat the Fish looks like Saturday we can all but win the Afc East with a win.

Who knows maybe this game takes a turn for the better but this offense is a fucking disgrace. What BB has done in handing the keys to Patricia and Judge would be fireable anywhere else. I can literally call the play pre-snap watching it based on which down we are on so any competent DC should do the same.

Sorry to see Kyler get that knee injury. Those non-contact ones are always the worst.

I would agree there it was a massive mistake not having a proper OC having a guy who last time he coached the Offense was as a Coach Assistant it was always a bad recipe especially with a 2nd year QB who not surprising has struggled On Belichick it will be interesting would Kraft have the guts to fire him I can't see it still it is impressive the Pats hold the last Wildcard spot.

Apparently Stevenson and Meyers were freelancing on it. I’m not going to criticise them two too much as it’s clear to me each each time the offense is on the field there are too many that don’t know what they’re being asked to do. There was a series down at the goal line where we wasted timeouts as they couldn’t get the play in correctly. That said even if it found it’s way to Mac I’m not sure what he thought he’d do from 50 yards out

Too often all season the broadcasters say it’s not very Patriot-like and that might have been true once but the fact it keeps happening shows it is all too true to form of them now. We’ve basically become the Rex Ryan Jets. I am at the point I think conversations need to be had on the future of the coaching staff and nothing should be off the table. Certainly Patricia and Judge need to be gone and to be honest so should BB as GM.

Aye he’s basically lefty Jared Goff. Not sure what the solution is for Miami now though. They’re too well placed to grab a Stroud or someone like that in the draft and at this point the only QB’s am sure will be available in FA are Brady (I think he’s done) and Carr (he’s ok but doesn’t move the needle for me).

It’s a damning statement of other teams this season how if we beat Miami next weekend (and I think we will in the cold of Foxboro) we control our own destiny, ridiculous really.

If Miami do move on from Tua free agency is more than likely the route they would go as they would first have to trade into the 1st round having no 1st round themselves and then give up more pieces to move into a position to get the guy they like.

Actually thinking about from free agency the most natural fit is Jimmy G. Will have worked with McDaniel at San Fran also. If they did move off Tua it’d be interesting what capital they could get for him. The best place for him would be the Jets as it’s clear they are done with Wilson but that’s an in division trade which will never happen.
