What an utterly pathetic performance from the Eagles. Kelly's seat officially getting warm, I would think.

Wait and see what the news is on Romo, but it's not going to be less than 8 weeks, and that's at the extreme optimistic end of the scale. Could be season over.

Extreme rose tinted, back-off-the-ledge view: 2-0 in the division, and the other 3 teams look like junk. Scrape along at ~.500 until Thanksgiving-ish, then get Romo and Dez back for the end of the year? :err:

One word for the Lions today - inept. Top to bottom, in every position, inept - and if the 2pt attempt is good on their last drive they only lose by 1 score, the Vikings should be ashamed. Do they miss Suh - hell yes, worst rush D performance for something like 3 seasons today, I know it's against Peterson but he hadn't managed over 100 yards against the Lions in his previous 4 games against them.
I'm still so down on Lombardi and actually using a running game as well, Abdullah looks like one of the most exciting RBs in the NFL for years and he just comes away from the run game so quick. Yes it wasn't going great early on and yes Stafford to Megatron/Tate was working, but for christ sake stick with it, don't just decide the RB is getting nowhere so we'll just throw it 90% of the time in the 2nd half!
0-5 awaits with Denver, Seattle and Arizona as the next games, thank god Chicago are in this division otherwise this would be an utterly depressing season.

Absolutely thrilled with that win in Buffalo. Against that D to score the way we did is a superb achievement. Brady was simply phenomenal as was Edelman.

Credit to Buffalo for not quitting on it and making it a lot closer than it should have been. Think though ultimately they really contributed to their own downfall with the amount of penalties given away. One of the downsides of teams coached by Rex.

Stayed up and watched the first half. Completely outplayed, and those endless penalties were more demoralising than your relentless scoring drives.

You say credit to Buffalo for not quitting but, having not seen the second half, how much of that was you guys easing off having made it pretty much safe in the 3rd?

If there is a more inept display of Football this year than what the Eagles have displayed today I will be amazed.

On a happier note the Miami Dolphins....:lol::lol:

Oh for a dislike button, especially for a Cheatriots fan :told:

Reasons to cheerful. Minus Bulaga, Barrington and Nelson, Adams and Cobb not 100% and Lacy getting injured early on too... yet Rodgers brings us back from behind when it looked like we were on the verge of getting done. Our run defence was excellent all game, gradually contained Wilson, and plays made by the undrafted Elliot stopped them in their tracks.

Doesn't undo 1% of last season, but that's a cracking start. Just gotta hope Lacy's injury isn't too bad.

The curse of being my QB in the TFF fantasy league strikes again - Brees out injured going to have shoulder surgery, with Romo my backup this is going well!
I now need to look at the available QBs and decide which one gets injured next.

got to agree Carel, I know the Jets are playing some good D here but they are helping them out with basic errors and Luck with some poor throws when under pressure. They seem to be carrying on from Buffalo, if this continues the division is wide open.

Flaming Colts, costing me on fantasy.

You're right though Kim, it makes the AFCS a bit more interesting but not for the right reasons, a bit like the NFCS last season.

You can't help but feel Luck and the Colts will get it together soon enough, though.

Well Sunday was fun. The offensive line did a tremendous job in pass protection giving Ben plenty of time to pick the 49ers defense apart. On defense, well Ryan Shazier is money.

Indeed - they have to make history though, no team who has started 0-2 two seasons in a row has made the playoffs two seasons in a row. Maybe we'll see another 8-8 or 7-9 make it! they should be fine though, I'm sure ESPN showed a stat last night that the last 2 seasons the Colts are 12-0 against the rest of the AFC South. Says more about their opponents than themselves though. Mariota might give them a game?!?

Yeah, I saw that. And 10-11 against teams from other divisions in the same timespan.

Cassel has gone to Dallas.

Depends what the cost is, a conditional late-round 2017 pick is doing the rounds, but Cassel on his most recent showings wasn't completely terrible - although it doesn't look good when Buffalo rate you not as good a QB2 as Manuel. Would have thought Weeden will start with Cassel ready to come in if he flounders badly.

It's not even as if they've got Murray to lean on either. Cowboys minus Murray, Bryant and Romo. Oooof.

Cost negligible. Cowboys sent them a 2017 5th, got a 2017 7th back.

It's an upgrade on Kellen Moore, and a hedge on Weeden catastrophically shitting the bed.

My thinking was giving you a direct replacement and a replacement for Bryant too. I didn't think the extra player though was probably going to be good enough to swing it, he's probably a #3 level right now, similar to your others at that position.

I always like proposing trades though, much fun :)

Fair enough, but it is the Gronk we're talking about.

It's an old fashioned Thursday night classic!

The 2015 NFC East is gonna be really really bad, innit?

So much for the Matt Jones hype train. My fantasy RB corps continue to tread water until Foster and Gurley get fit...

Think it says it all that without Romo and Bryant the Cowboys should still be winning the division at a canter.

I have to decide whether to bother to stay up for Sunday Night Football this week, Denver in town. Their offense doesn't look at all scary this season, but their defense does, so more trouble for Lombardi. Got to see he is getting a bit of coverage : http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...-oc-joe-lombardi-play-calling-not-good-enough

and how have you stolen LeBron's hairline?

The lines this week are comical, I don't know that I can take any team -15.5 even if it's the Seahawks at home against the Bears minus Cutler. Although, with the total points over/under is 41.5, it's suggesting the Bears would score 13 points. Seems unlikely...
