Nice drive by Stafford to most likely win this for the Lions.
Don't really know, they played each other hard in the playoffs last season and both of them play a similar style read O with some ground and pound. The Panthers and Seahawks don't seem to like each other. Any reason why?
Not sure what all the fuss was about with the Tate TD... caught the ball, two steps, catch complete... then that's it right? I suppose there has to be a defined # of steps, and even if it was upped to three there woul still be a case where this would arise again. It's the ball-bobbling ones (like Bryant last season) that confuse me more.
doesn't matter - as a runner all he needs to do is break the goal line, as soon as the ball went over the white line the play was over.He didn't have full control of the ball surely
Course it matters, if he never has control of the ball then it can't possibly be a TD or even a catch.doesn't matter - as a runner all he needs to do is break the goal line, as soon as the ball went over the white line the play was over.
If a RB (or eligible runner) is bobbling the ball all over the place but breaks the goal line it is a TD. They could be holding on to it with one finger, as long as it breaks that line it's good.Course it matters, if he never has control of the ball then it can't possibly be a TD or even a catch.
