I have been betting and trading on these over the course of the last week. Suits me better as the games are later on when I tend to have some peace and quiet.

I find the fact that I don't know a lot about basketball/NFL or like/dislike any teams makes it a bit easier to analyse games and stats without having any kind of bias or thinking 'oh but I know Chelsea are actually a decent side full of outstanding players'.

Plus, these sports are so huge that the amount of/kind of stats you can find without really having to do any work is ridiculous.

I've been messing about with a strategy whereby I back singles/doubles with the bookies and then trade on the exchange in play. Trying to cover my stakes to get myself a free bet it a bit of extra profit.

My picks tonight are:

Basketball

Milwaukee Bucks @ LA Lakers - Bucks Moneyline @ 1.62

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Boston Celtics - Cavaliers Moneyline @ 1.73

£10 double returns £27.90

Will be looking to get involved in play too.

Any update on this?

I'm a big fan of NFL, and have placed a few bets on it in the past but have always thought about getting more involved in the American sports as it generally seems money can be made.

Would be interested in how you are finding/found it.

There's money to be made on the NHL as our bookies often price games up wrong. It still helps to know about the sport you're betting on, or its just headless betting.
