What about that big chubby Scottish bloke with guy liner that used to go your games?

He was like a Scottish Terrier. Rap, rap, rap but give him a bit of a kick and he'd scamper away with a very short tail between his legs.

I see you lot managed to get a big piece on Look North about this tonight, which didn't exactly put whoever organises it all in good light, which ironically enough is the guy who did the initial interview?

The FA blamed Grimsby for the Port Vale trouble (and also the Sheffield United trouble?) and fined £15k whilst also citing too few a stewards at BP on match days and basically a disregard for spectator safety in and around the stadium, or words similar.

Wasn't surprised about the FA's comments about Humberside Police and Grimsby Town not getting on well. That seems to have been the case for years.

People living in glass houses such as yourself should take care.
Your complaint falls into pale insignificance compared to what some Tranny fans have perpetrated.
The only people hurt when the crumbling seats collapsed were FGR supporters but it was a Tranmere supporter who stoned the FGR Supporter's coach after one of FGR's wins at PP. And then of course a Tranmere thug boarded the supporters coach to terrorise the seated OAPs inside after another FGR away win at PP.

You can SWA SWA that my friend.

This is absolutely staggering and suggests the Police have huge issues with Vale as a club.
So more police on duty per person for the marauding Morecambe hordes than say Leeds v Sheff Utd and that friendly encounter Liverpool v Man Utd .

Grimsby also prominent I see.
Whilst we have our share of knobs this smacks of an agenda against Vale .

For any Grimsby fans who came to the Vale 2 seasons ago I honestly thought the Queen or Theresa May were attending, never ever seen so many old bill as that day.

I'm all for everybody being able to have a safe day out but there's safe and there's absolute overkill

Liverpool v Man U would need well over 500 officers just for one every 100 fans.

Not sure how high that is for a police presence at a football match but given your match at Crewe only had 69 officers turn up and still made the list high up would suggest these stats are a bit meaningless other than of the 11 forces that replied you have the most police show up per fan. Easier to be high on a list like that with lower attendances.

A bit (or rather very) misleading though since only 11 police forces provided the data for that.

Grimsby and Scunthorpe fans have had many battles over the years and I would expect problems this season. Humberside Police will no doubt ruin the match days. Grimsby's stadium manager must be very experienced to make the claim he has made. I suspect he isn't and is just another mouthy twat.

You sure you don’t know him? If not then that is a very accurate description!!

Same, didn’t see any whatsoever, loads of Bradford fans parked near where I did and no bother at all with both sets of fans walking together.
