I think Adam Stag had much to do with it.

Last season I just spoke my mind and sometimes was right, others wrong - there seemed to be some sensitive souls here last season - willing to dish it out but cried to mummy when they got it back

I didnt post enough this season, and to be fair was usually right - so I'd be surprised if me or Mansfield fans festured

We always feature. It's been a thing since the Conference days. The only respectable poster we had was Jakethestag. Very knowledgable guy who I'd have loved to go for a beer with.

Hopefully not, my vote went to Mowgil for that award, it was a difficult choice between him and Tinpot. Tinpot is actually quite humble at times though whereas Mowgil (sorry bud) can be so irritating! :shut:
Have you read the shit you have posted, for fucks sake, have a read

I want to slap Aber for his torturous inflictions of tomatoes and mushrooms.

955415.jpg

Here is a traditional Peruvian recipe for Llama that avoids the mushrooms - Lomo Saltado (6 servings)

2 pounds Llama steak
1 tbs red wine
2 tsp minced garlic
4 tomatoes, cut into strips
salt and pepper
2 med onions, cut into strips
1 bell pepper, cut into thin strips
chopped parsley
1 tbs vinegar
5 med potatoes (ideally purple), cut into thin strips
oil

Cut steak into thin strips and marinate in wine for an hour.

Sautee the garlic in oil and add the steak. Continue frying until the steak is cooked. Drain some of thejuice and save.

Add the chopped tomato, salt and pepper to the pan. Cook for a few minutes. Add the onion, bell
pepper, parsley and vinegar. Cook a few minutes more and then add the juice from the meat.

In a separate pan, fry the potatoes in hot oil. Add the fried potatoes to the meat. Serve with rice.

I'm not finding this year's awards thing easy at all :conf: Perhaps some of you fine gentlemen care to jog my memory? I'm having trouble with quite a few of the awards this time round. Worst fans? The Mansfield lot have been well behaved this year, the Luton fans too. Best Raconteur is another one as sadly BigDave has decided to follow Curzon.

But, at least I know who I'll be voting for in 'the poster I'd most like to give a slap' cat - Abergas*** for his irritating "I have foreseen" and "No worries mate, we're going up'' posts
Best thread? There can only be one contender and you all know which one it is ;) But I'm undecided on the worst thread one, so suggestions are most welcome.

***Only kidding Abers mate!

Actually thinking back, I think WH Stag, who I don't think I've seen around in a while had even more to do with it.

From the votes so far it is clear people are having a bit more trouble remembering their opinions than last year, which is odd considering last season was just four months of Carlisle and Mansfield fans moaning about relegation, (by the way, you can update your votes, the way 1FF organises messages into conversations even makes this easy for me to follow).

What I'll do is create a special thread for people to suggest/nominate winners for awards to help stimulate peoples memories.

I'm sorry I must have been sucked into a time-hole because my calendar still stays it's only the 23rd of May. Can you tell me who won the Champion's League final so I can place a bet on it, I promise I'll share my winnings with you.

There's a curry house in Carlisle that will do a Llama curry... I had Llama Dansak, it was delicious.

and *BUMP*

Never won multiple awards in the same night before. I'll brush the mothballs off my tux.

OK folks, that is that. I'm a bit busy during the week these days, so I'll run an awards night at the weekend. Give you all time to get those tuxedos and ball-gowns brushed down and dry-cleaned.
