We got outclassed by a League Two team but still got a draw and a replay we don't want.

Walsall deserved to go through today. Really poor performance and we got what what we deserved. With Middlesbrough and Burnley to play in the next six days though Smith can be forgiven for making some changes.

Lost 1-0 to West Ham but the major news is it being a day we've lost 2 strikers. Afobe has played his last game and is on the verge of signing for Bournemouth, whilst Bjorn Sigurdarson picked up a season ending injury on his first start in 2 years.

A bad day...

Well he's going to have to bring someone in if it's a serious injury isn't he.
Yep, but will it be another Ben Hamer type signing? Or even worse, a Calamity James like signing.

QPR extend their winless run at the CG to 31 (19 defeats, 12 draws)

Let's make sure they don't win in the league now ffs.

I almost wish my 7-0 prediction did come true... That was gutting! A fantastic effort, but what the hell is with all these 93rd/94th minute goals?? We went through a spell like this under Johnson too, it must be psychological. It's on the players minds, the crowd begin to expect it and it just keeps happening.

We've shown we can match a team of West Broms quality, no excuse not to perform in our next two home games now! COYR!!!!

So this is the FA Cup thread. Might want to make it obvious to the non-regulars you twats.:told:

Watching Cardiff/Shrewsbury in Welsh. Caught a few familiar faces. Glad to see Ecuele Manga is starting, good defender.

Your intake of shit BBC adverts is clearly not to the standard required to post in this sub-forum.
I'd like to think of our board as not pandering to the local media. Or something.

Did you go? Was it as bad as it sounded? I am surprised you didnt have a shoot on sight tactic as we had a 20 year old in goal making his debut. I cant believe we started 4 centre backs, deary me.

We've just given Hartlepool our share of the gate receipts from Saturday which is a nice touch.

I think it's about time for Eastleigh to do the same for Bolton you greedy bastards.

Man Utd at home in the 4th round. If they're still shit, we can do 'em!

BT televising our replay with West Brom next Tuesday. Surprised at that, thought there were more appealing ties out there but I'm not complaining, means I can watch it now and we might even go through, we always win on TV

We now have the added incentive/pressure of the Chelsea tie being selected for coverage (4pm, BBC1 on the Sunday).

Cobblers are well on their way to 6,000 tickets, 4,500 already, which is probably more than us at this stage!

Obviously the money from a Chelsea sell out is a massive carrot, and could go some way to allowing us to do deals previously out of reach, hence we've gone very quiet as regards transfers this week. I guess nothing will happen now until we know one way or another whether we've got an additional £1M (or whatever it works out at) in the bank. Last year the Man United revenue allowed us to do a couple of deals for Spence and Baker. Hoping for similar this season.

I'm not confident though. We've been in this situation before (needing to beat QPR back at ours in a replay to face Chelsea in the 4th round, or beat Stevenage in a replay to face AFC). Both ended in miserable failure.

I'm not watching anything as I'm at work but Eastleigh are currently beating Bolton.. It probably won't last but at least the travelling fans got a celebrate a goal.
Pompey beating Ipswich 2-0 and Huddersfield winning 2-0 at Reading too.

Pretty happy to see Bolton winning. Probably not too much more likely to go out there than at Eastleigh...and be arsed with the cup upset parade so if we do lose, we can bow out quietly.

That was shite.

They were there for the taking, but we didn't go for it and carefully preserved our more influential players for Saturday it seems.

Just got back, and I am absolutely freezing.
