It must have been that well known sudden freeze phenomenon that only ever happens in Oxford

Just read elsewhere that there was a pitch inspection yesterday and one again this morning, yet it took until 5 mins before kick off to decide the pitch was unplayable

It's the Checkatrade. Hopefully there weren't many Bradford supporters to be inconvenienced.

On the other hand, a couple of Oxford supporters I communicate with are highly embarrassed at the number of their supporters who seem to have embraced this competition.

Add me to that list.

I'd fully support our removal from this cup as a punishment for the inconvenience caused to Bradford.

Looked like there were about 25 there from pictures but a few of them will live darn south.

It's the refs that fucked up most, how can you have 3 inspections and be able to check a forecast and still not call it off in advance. No doubt absolutely nothing will happen to them.

Like the way McCall suggested just having a coin toss... that would have really shown the farce that the trophy is!

I may be making this up but I'm sure I recall a cricket match in the 80s once being decided on a game of darts.

Both days had been rained off completely & the pitch was so wet they couldn't even have a bowl off, so some of the players played darts to see who got through to the next round.
