I would be shocked if we aren't in for him. Frankie and him would be a perfect pairing for the Championship and Frankie needs decent competition.

I never said he would be a no 2 Dan. Whichever one is in better form gets the shirt. Obviously, he would know that the higher up the leagues he goes, the more competition there is.
We are local, ambitious, at a higher level (that may change), need another keeper and he's available. It would all fit if he's up for the challenge.
If you win the play offs, I would imagine he'll stay anyway.

Strange thing about goalies - unless they make a succession of howlers they rarely get dropped.

I don't think he'd even opt for a PL team if it was just as a back-up

In all honesty Dan, if he wasn't up for the challenge, I don't think Cott's would want him anyway. If he wants to play further up, nothing is guaranteed for any player.
