13/15. Not going to try and predict if that's enough for the playoffs.

Forest Green (A) - LOSE
Torquay (H) - WIN
Braintree (A) - WIN
Chester (H) - DRAW
Wrexham (H) - WIN (It'll be a dead rubber I think)
Grimsby (A) - LOSE (They will need the points and we will be on our holidays by then I expect).

10/18 would be a good month and the 4 games between Forest Green and Grimsby are nice for our run in, 4 teams with nothing to play for of which 2 seem to be in free fall. By the time we play Wrexham they will probably be knackered from playing 2 games a week for 3 months.

Probably our easiest month on paper we have had this season, though its at the business end of the season when we have a very real shot at the title which makes it all the harder in the real world. Nothing short of another unbeaten run and possibly even 5 victories will be enough though I don't think.

Our destiny is in our hands now despite our tough run in. Following yesterdays performance and result we should fear anyone.

Been a little conservative and confident we can nick all 3 points at the racecourse and secure a 5th season in the Non league top flight. An unbelievable achievement considering the start, budget and standard of oppostion!

I'd be gutted if three wins and a draw doesn't get us into the play-offs. Dover Away is a really tough game two days after Welling. Four points from those two fixtures would be a good return. What a season it has been for us though and it's still alive going into the final month.

Nice counting mate :bravo: 4 wins and a draw would mean that FGR need to drop 3 points, and Eastleigh 4. Achievable but still difficult.

Four wins and a draw is what I predicted but I think we need three wins and a draw to get into the play-offs.

That would give us 78 points, not sure if it's enough but I can't see us getting much more then that. Would take a win and 2 defeats instead of those 3 draws, as long as the win was against Macc. The way we set up we're more likely to draw games though, especially against sides who know how to defend.

So you think 10/15 is enough for us to get into the playoffs? That would leave us on 78 points mate, meaning you think that Eastleigh will get 9/18 and FGR 9/15?

10 points would be the minimum that we need for the play-offs but if we got and that and didn't make it, we'd miss out narrowly I reckon thus I'd be disappointed. I don't fear any of our next five. My doubts, though, lie in whether we can win the narrow/harder games vs Dover (A), Gateshead (H) and Halifax (H). Can't see us losing any of those three but it's whether we win them that matters.

Fair enough. We really should beat Dover as they have nothing to play for and Gateshead could be 10 points off us by the time we play them (assuming they lose to Grimsby and then beat Alty) and then there's a decent chance that Halifax will be out of the running come the final day. I'm very worried about Welling next Saturday to be honest given how much we always struggle against them, but otherwise I don't think the fixtures are too dificult.

I'd be very happy with 7/15 and would probably take 6/15. We could have a serious say in the title race depending on how the games against Bristol Rovers and Barnet go

My predictions would be the same. I don't know why, but I fancy us to get a point off Barnet, but if we could get a point at any of Bristol Rovers, Barnet or Eastleigh and win the other 2, I'd be happy with our end to the season.

Gateshead are out of it now, even if they win all their games I doubt they would get in. There's also the possibility that Macc got only get 7 points out of 15 and get dragged back in to it.

Would say we realistically need at least 11 points.

Burr just trying different formations and players in different positions now ahead of next season so we'll probably lose all our games, nick a couple of draws at the most.

Sat 11th - Wellingborough Town (H)
Tues 14th - Northampton Sileby Rangers (A)
Sat 18th - Newport Pagnell (H)
Sat 25th - Cogenhoe United (H)

No predictions here just some targets. This is the final month of the season the points we need to achieve a mathematical minimum for the following positions as things stand:
4th - 0 (currently our minimum finishing position).
3rd - 4 (4th and 3rd play each other, separated by 1 potential point the highest total for both comes from a draw)
2nd - 7
1st - 11

n.b. possible that we will have superior GD to any team that would finish level on points with us, but at this level currently hard to tell. The three chasing teams have an extra game to play (or 2 in the case of 4th placed Holbeach). Drawing level on points with any team is likely to see us have superior enough GD unless huge wins/losses are racked up.

Under normal circumstances, you'd be hoping for 3 or 4 wins from that lot. But we're not under normal circumstances.

5 wins needed. Nothing else will be enough, and maybe even then still not. But I still think we need those results for momentum in the playoffs should it come to that.

I am a bit of a pessimist and would go for:

Aldershot (H) Win
Chester (A) Draw
Macclesfield (H) Draw
Gateshead (A) Loss
Dover (H) Win

Which would give us 77 points, therefore having to rely on others to drop points. We will probably go into the last game needing a win to keep our play-off hopes alive.

All three at the top knowing they need to win every game to win the league. Gonna be interesting when all three of us lose on Saturday, Maccs for the taking.

Err nope.

Our April looks pretty tough:

Halifax (A)
Wrexham (H)
Forest Green (A)
Dartford (H)
Torquay (A)

I think we still need 8 points from that to cement the PO's, hopefully can do it but it is very very far from a foregone conclusion we'll finish top 5.

Can't see why you're worried tbh, I can see at least 9 fairly straightforward points in that lot. Wrexham, Dartford and Torquay are all very winnable plus you always do well at our place. You'll make it imo.

Worried because apart from last saturday we've been turd for weeks, and have stopped scoring goals.
