Anyone to the left of me is a commie and anyone to the right is a fascist. Fact.

Someone was watching over my shoulder so I answered a little more "nicely" than I would have done had I been alone...

Who looked yesterday over your shoulder that you were so much out of bounds. Was it a Right Wing nutjob? :D

Ah, that's better. In the green square which is the right (not the Right) corner ;)

Fair enough on the anonymous voting, although in this day and age I struggle to understand why some people, and not just in the UK but all across Europe and the rest of the democratic world, want to keep their political beliefs private. We're not living in North Korea or third world South African state for god's sake.

As for you being a centrist, don't make me laugh mate. You're a UKIP supporter therefore a right winger.

In places like the UK some people are scared of getting sacked from their job if they are heard to believe in right wing principles.

I am not a UKIP supporter or right winger by the way.

Pretty much identical to Mark.

I find that site interesting for the comparisons to other parties, I'm far more left and libertarian than both the lib Dems and labour for e.g.

Still not entirely sure what the question about astrology tells us about how economically or socially authoritarian someone is...

Not even close to any of our parties except for the greens who I actually voted for in the last GE as I couldn't bring myself to vote for any of the others.

Quite happy with that although no doubt it would be a complete disaster if someone like me got into power.

Are there any examples of this happening? I'm sure I remember hearing it but I can't be sure. To be fair there are jobs out there that aren't suitable for people who have extreme views on race, crime etc. No one's getting sacked for having general right wing views though I'm sure.

So the Left is winning the vote by a lot.

Now why are there so many left wing radicalised nut jobs on here? I thought Centrists would of been the one with most votes, because it's a not too hard but not too soft and not over the top political system, it's for normal people!

So why on Earth would many people not prefer that? Do the majority of people on these forums want society to be screwed up?

radicalised? Nonsense. The green square is left-liberal (but maybe everything left from the center is already radicalised for you).

Am I a radical by voting the Social Democrats which are currently in our government and were in the 70's and early 80's important for changing the opinion others had of Germany ( Peace noble prize for Chancellor Willy Brandt )? FFS

Anything nowadays that is left or right from the centre is quickly radicalised, it's like black ants versus red ants. The CENTRE is the only hope for all humanity now. You must never stray too far to either wing.

Merkel went too far left.

Ha, I just can't stand the whole right vs left thing, it's tearing society apart and just causes needless hatred and violence among a lot of people.

Out of interest: How would Trump fit in your scheme?

You said Merkel went too far left. Given that she is a member of a Conservative Party and therefore more on the "Right" side she has now reached your "CENTRE"?
And where would you put Trump in your scheme: You said that the "Centre is the only hope for Humanity". He's the leader of the biggest Democracy in the World and when he does what he said before elected then there should be no hope at all?

Merkel was a conservative? Seriously? She allowed an open door policy for immigrants and she refuses to hold a German flag so she doesn't offend people. Well she didn't stop in the centre, she went all the way to the left.

As for Trump, well only time will tell how he'll do but sometimes the only way to put out a fire is for another fire to be lit.

Thought so! What is right sometimes for fire fighting mustn't be right for politics per se.
OK, enough. I can see that you are clearly a "centrist" as you mentioned :D

I've never seen someone score right on this so I've always had doubts as to it's legitimacy, think this confirms my suspicions.
It can be done though... This has me as more authoritarian than Thatcher, but not quite as bad as Hitler, but more right than Hitler and about the same as Maggie.
