Win or bust essentially. Will we win? No way. 3-0 Plymouth. Anyone on here mad enough to be making the trip?

I'm surprised we've managed to fill five coaches to be honest, I know we're not relegated yet but most people I've spoken to gave up after the Luton game.

If John Sheridan's got anything about him he'll have watched the goals we've been conceding and just push for set pieces as we are utterly hopeless at defending them. No change in manager can sort that out in one week, regardless how much Rogers and Garnett get the team fired up for the game.

2-0 home win, both from corners.

I wouldn't write yourselves off just yet, Plymouth were very poor against us last week and your players may be fired up under your temporary manager.

Hope you lot don't go down, decent club. But you have been very poor recently and I fully understand why you are writing this off.

Even if you lose you could still survive on the last day against Bury.

Good Luck

I've been reading both Tranmere forums a lot over the past couple of months, purely because some of the gallows humour is quality. ("Why am I paying to sit in birdsh*t and watch dogsh*t?"). Presumably its the Merseyside thing coming to the fore.

I know there's a tendency for fans to go overboard in these situations - we have to suffer the absolute joke of a forum that is exeweb after all - but it does seem that the club is a complete omnishambles on the field for some reason. Apart from two back-to-back-draws at the turn of the month, it seems as though they've lost every game since 21st February. I can't understand it, because while they didn't look like world-beaters when they won at our place, they in no way appeared to be a team which would go on to post that kind of record.

It's a shame, because Tranmere fans seem a decent bunch and I want them to go down least of all for various reasons, but it seems to me that the Cornish can look forward to just about the most guaranteed three points in the recent history of the division. I hate to say that because we need the extra cash we get when our green neighbours are in the same division.

Anyway, good luck Rovers, for what its worth. (Not a lot with my track record.)

Fear not Rovers fans... you may be shit, but for my entire time of being an Argyle fan we have always, always been a very charitable club to other clubs that are struggling. We'll go and beat some of the best clubs in the league, but we've put an end to more winless/losing/terrible streaks than I can count. If you're struggling, you could not be coming to a better place if you want to grab a win.

And the fact that we badly need to win to stay in the playoffs as well? Well fuck me, we may as well call this one off before it even gets started.

YOU'RE WELCOME! Enjoy the 3 points.

???

Have you seen their record over the past three months? I don't care how historically charitable you may have been - you'd really have to go some to stuff this one up.

Yeah, that's exactly my point. No matter how bad it is, we're fantastic at helping clubs out of that sort of a rut. We've made a career out of "going some to stuff this one up".

Home win guaranteed. Frantic scramble to see the Hartlepool/Cheltenham results come 5pm. Probable gut-wrenching realisation 'Pools have won. Game Over.

I see a Tranmere win here. Reading the cowsheds it seems that Micky Adam's biggest flaws were not picking his best players and just generally creating a toxic atmosphere around the club, with him gone there could be some sort of awakening.

Hopefully for Tranmere's sake they had a scout at Brunton Park last week because they could have learned a thing or two about Plymouth. Basically they have a solid defence and some really exciting attacking players up front, but nothing in the middle. We played 5-3-2 and outnumbering them in midfield, (once we got a grip of the game which took about 15 minutes), just seemed to nullify them completely. We even ended up leaving dangerous looking gaps between midfield and defence but they had no way of exploiting it.

Probably kick off if we do get relegated. Plymouth'll lose a few seats in the away end I'd imagine. Took mine home from Orient last year as a keepsake after the person behind me kicked it out. Orient were replacing the seats at the end of the season anyway, but even so.

Only 5 hours of sitting on a coach to go... Respect to most of the Argyle lot I spoke to - decent bunch. All the best for the play offs. I'm not even saying anything about Rovers yet - too painful.

Don't worry about the retard Franchise knob you Tranmere fans. He's a constant idiot with his childish views on our league one thread, very near to being banned. You'll be back, as you're a proper team with loyal support and history whereas Franchise are mickey mouse with none of that, which is why he's posted as he's jealous of you deep down.

My favorite "other team" is anyone playing MK Dons... absolute disgrace how they came about, and they are just to say in Milton Keynes, the stadium is next to Bletchley airport

real football fans will never accept how MK stole Wimbledons identity , you sir may be a very nice man who is a credit to humanity , the club you support however are a joke and will never be loved

real football fans? Let me think ..... ok those who supported Wimbledon FC from non league days then had thier club stolen. .... can't see MK Dons attracting any affection from outside MK..... dont forget Winkleman wanted to go to Dublin first, now he built a massive stadium that never gerts half full, imagine how you would feel if he upped sticks again and moved to Dublin , well that's how those " real " Wimbledon fans felt when you stole thier identity

I got cheesed off when they made us change our home end in the 90s , moving 50 yds to a different turnstile is as far as I will go!
