Looking forward to this one, always a decent atmosphere and with both teams doing well I can see a higher attendance than we would normally get for this fixture... Being optimistic I could see there being 9... Maybe even 10000 at this one depending on how many Rovers bring down.

In terms of the actual match, I can see this being a well-contested 1-1 draw... Would be absolutely ecstatic with 3 points though, as this will definitely be a tough game as Bristol Rovers will be coming into this fixture after a couple of bad results so they'll be looking to bounce back.

I'd take a point right now. We hav'nt been taking our chances in game and were awful against accy. I expect a reaction but Plymouth are one of the top sides this year. 1-1

I guess I would take a point now because we were really poor last week, but if we can get back to how we were performing in August I see no reason why we couldn't win the game.

Argyle have started well so it will definitely be a tough game. I just hope we put the recent disappointments behind us and play like we know we can, as that would give us a decent chance. As you say Sam, it should be a good atmosphere and I'm looking forward to being part of it.

We're not doing well we've lost 3 on the bounce without scoring. And we've sold out our allocation of 1,230 if that helps your attendance guess

I really don't think we're as bad as a team that would go down to 4 losses in a row usually, unfortunately that's exactly what I can see happening. Plymouth a good side on good form, I'd certainly take a point. Doesn't get any easier either with Pompey next up, we really could do with a win but a tough ask.

A draw was a perfectly fair result.

Dull first half, exciting second.

Luke McCormick & Lee Nicholls produced two of the best saves I've ever seen live.

Rovers fans on the whole noisy and friendly, let down by some hooligans who were only interested in smashing up seats, advertising boards & gesturing toward the family end

Agree with that re: the saves, although I think Harrison should have scored!

We were pretty poor for the most part today. Sat far too deep and Plymouth played some good stuff without threatening hugely. We started to threaten towards the end of the first half, and last 15 I thought we were the better side. Fair result I think, although we had a few opportunities to steal a win.

Entertaining second half as lovePAFC says. Good to get a point at a tough place to go, would like to see Leadbitter back and a win next week against Pompey.

As for the referee, sending off for McCormick? But also a pen up the other end in my view so it evens out I guess.

I'm not sure. It was a penalty but I don't think your player had the ball under control, there were covering men. Admittedly I haven't seen a replay. Lucky it wasn't a red and lucky his injury wasn't serious, we would have had to put an outfield player in goal.

The one on Brunt was a defo pen in my eyes. But as I say, a fair result.

Just watched the highlights. Thought it was stonewall at the time but now I don't even think it was a penalty. Luke goes to collect the loose ball, the rovers player knocks it past him and collides, Luke's limbs are all tucked in, there's no attempt to take the player down. It's a collision not a foul.

A fair result on the balance of play but feeling a bit hard done by after seeing that.

True, but that doesn't mean it was a foul.

The forward always seems to get the benefit of the doubt when 'taken down' by a keeper.

What happened after the game? Seen like 200 rovers fans chasing a load of plymouth in a park

I haven't seen the replay and because I'm abroad, I won't be able to until it goes on Youtube - but surely that is deemed a foul by the way you've described it? If Harrison has knocked it past McCormick and McCormick is in the way, collision or not, he has obstructed Harrison without getting the ball and is therefore a foul, right? As I said, I need to see it though.

Sounded like a good point though, we needed that. Now on to a very tough game with Pompey also.

Ref got it spot on in my opinion, penalty but no red card. I don't think it was deliberate but he did take Harrison out, so it had to be a pen. However, I'm not sure Harrison would have got to the ball and managed to squeeze it into the net, so I think a yellow card was the correct decision.

Pity, because given the save that came after I'm sure we'd have won had he got a red.

It was a very even game and a draw was a fair result but I still don't know how McCormick kept out Harrison's header. Amazing save but Harrison should really have given him no chance from that range.

Luke McCormick's save on 1 min 35, world class.

If Joe Hart had saved the game with a save like that, it would be the talking point of MOTD for weeks.

Cracking save, but Harrison really has to do better as well

Tremendous save, without a doubt.

Having seen it back, though, I am convinced Harrison should have done better, whereas at the time I just thought it was a world class save.

Seems to be some substance behind this one though. John the stripe is usually reliable from what I read?
Good news for you lot if it is true and about time to be fair.

What on earth happened on Saturday?

One arsehole posted a pic on arsebook of bloodied knuckles, claiming that he'd knocked an oppo supporter's tooth out. Comments about fighting outside the ground. A steward rumoured to have attacked a Gas supporter. and that's without the apparent ticketing balls-up.

Nothing crazy, just 100 or so like minded folk having a good old fashioned tear up in the park!
