I still don't understand those saying Mignolet should have saved the 3rd. Just because a shot is near the middle of the net doesn't mean it should be saved. The arc and velocity on that shot is such that Mignolet would have to have been rooted to his line to save it, and even then just tip it over.

I can see faulting him a bit for the Özil freekick. His initial cheating to the other side indicates he either a) thought Alexis was taking it or b) had a scouting report which detailed Özil's tendency to try and go over the wall and curl it away from the keeper, which is fair since most set-piece takers without massive power don't challenge the keeper on his side.

The 3rd looked untidy from Mignolet at first, you think he's just thrown his hand in the wrong place, but the balls actually passed him before his managed to get his hand up to it. Sanchez smashed it!

On the Ozil goal you'll always be disappointed by your keeper letting goal in at his near post. It's a quality freekick put right in the corner, but Mignolet starts moving to the left too soon.
