Arsenal squad cost £250 million i read somewhere and City's was £285 million not much difference

City full first team would beat Arsenal but i expect a draw from another 2 average teams

The league is so poor as everyone has said this term.

I reckon this'll be 0-0.

BUT whenever I guess a 0-0 draw all hell breaks loose. 3-3.

That's just not true though, is it?

I fucking wish it did.

Aguero is supposed to be back for this. It would be nice if Alexis could make it to the bench. Score draw. I think Flamini + Ramsey is ill-suited to contain Silva and De Bruyne.

£250m matches my rough estimates which include Cech, Alexis, Gabriel, Chambers, Debuchy, Ospina, Welbeck, Özil, Cazorla, Giroud, Monreal, Ox, Campbell, Arteta, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Ramsey, Rosicky, and Walcott.

It's the Manchester City figure I'm skeptical about considering they spent £150m alone this summer. I think they're well above £400m.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.

And utterly pointless. It's not like we're talking about poor old penniless Arsenal here, with a ragtag team of butchers and postmen, just dreaming of the big time.

I'd like to see class prevail here - go on Arsenal, show those money c*** what a real team looks like.

Sorry but that's just how I feel.

OK?

Well I don't care if it is or isn't because I've laid it all out on the line and spat some truth serum out.

That's what I think.

we absolutely have to beat City if we are going to win the league. We can't let them go on a run, and we have a lot of tough away fixtures to play.

We go in to this game as clear favourites. I expect a win. I think it'll be 2-0 to Arsenal. 1 goal and 1 assist for the mighty Mesut.

No idea what's going to happen, but it'll be nice to have Aguero back. A lot will depend on how sharp he is after a stop-start season so far.

Talksport today have been bigging it up as a title decider, which seems a little unfair on Leicester!

A title decider before the half way point in a season? You need to stay clear of Talksport, they spout some absolute nonsense.

Leicester aren't title contenders, the fairytale is cute but come may they'll be fighting for top 6.

I think this is the match where our lack of Coq is fully exposed. It'd be nice if Alexis was back, but we shouldn't rush him for this match right before the holiday fixtures.

So it's a lack of Coq, not balls, that you think will hold Arsenal back?

If Aguero, Silva, KDB and Sterling think they are gonna get past Mertesacker easily then they are deluded.

Flamini has been a beast there. Right back when we resigned him he was being lauded as a better signing than Ozil.

We'll be fine tonight, The only world class player they have that I'm worried about is Aguero.

De Bruyne, Sterling, Silva, Aguero. All as good as it gets, but I think we are better defensively. Its a good battle. Hope we win it.

It sounds like Alexis will be on the bench, so I expect to see:

Giroud
Walcott - Özil - Campbell
Flamini - Ramsey
Monreal - Koscielny - Mertesacker - Bellerin
Cech

Walcott on the right rather than the left, surely?

That team doesn't look title-winning to me. Flamini and Campbell (well as he's done recently) are the weak links. A win would be massive.
