Now we have seen and heard that football needs fans in the stands, what game last season had the best atmosphere for you?
I have to say for me, it was Orient away and Exeter at home,.

Can only speculate with watching via iFollow. I’d agree with those 2 - although getting 13,000+ for Exeter and the return of the Ginger Pele helped! Plus Plymouth away was good - got a lot of time for that club.

Atmosphere's usually pretty poor at Brunton Park so I can only speculate that having no fans in the stadium will improve things. Best atmosphere of last season was probably the FA Cup replay against Cardiff.

League match wise, Vale Park was better last year, probably because we were finally winning games and united again.

The atmosphere at the Etihad was incredible in the away end but then you've got 8000 of us behind one goal. The noise and mental when his holiness headed past Bravo will stay with me for years to come.

Dont really go away anymore due to having two little kids but as much as I hate to massage Firthy's ego Bradford is undoubtedly the best.

I only did Crewe away aside from Man City the past season, atmosphere is alright but a local game with both sides taking larger than usual numbers.

I'm a bit similar to valefan16 in that I don't go to away games much any more, more due to time than anything else...weekends, in normal times, are precious and there are so many things I can do on a Saturday that don't involve travelling the length and breadth of the country.

I usually go to any game that is within about 50 miles of home, so that includes the likes of Oxford, Kiddy, Newport, Bristol, etc. I missed the Swindon game, gutted that I didn't get to see us win, but had been feeling really lousy all week and didn't fancy sitting in a cold and draughty football stadium for the afternoon...on reflection that might not be a bad decision as I suspect that I might have had the virus, so avoiding becoming a spreader by staying home may have been the right thing to do.

If we are unable to travel abroad for sometime, at least until a test for those who have had the virus and/or an inoculation are available, I might do a couple of weekends breaks with an away game...a sort of footycation!

Only saw us a few times to be honest, all away. Getting stuffed 7-1 at Chelsea being the highlight for me. Great support from us that evening. The only game I saw us win was at Exeter. Defeats at Salford, FGR and Swindon along with a wasted journey down to Plymouth complete my record.

Orient was excellent. Our Belgian followers who came over for the day made it a fantastic atmosphere that day.

Atmosphere has been flat for a good 2 seasons, now.

Under Parkinson days, and the year we were almost promoted to Champ under McCall(16/17), it was bouncing.

Not many grounds up and down the country could compare, to be honest.

Away: Grimsby - you could tell it was a big day for them.

Home: - too and far between; probably Northampton or Grimsby. Grimsby actually brought some fans to Valley Parade and it was McCall’s first game back - hence the 18,000 crowd.

I think you'll find we normally bring a few to your gaff.

Well, you’d like to think so, but it wasn’t always the case. Between 2007-2010, the most you brought was circa 800. Still very good, given the crowds you get at home and the size of your club.

Not the biggest of crowds (I think we took about 500) at Carlisle but that stood out as being pretty good. Morecambe was also pretty good in terms of noise made by our fans. Unfortunately we missed out on some potentially very good ones at Mansfield, Bradford, Vale and Cambridge.

Also thought both games vs Swindon was good, oddly mainly the home atmospheres at both games were good.

I’d say Oldham were the loudest away fans at Gresty Rd this season, until the 97th minute anyway they were quiet then.

Have to say the atmosphere is so terrible at English grounds watching the games with no fans hasn't affected me enjoying TV games at all. But it is weird watching games from other countries where the atmosphere is very good.

"The best Bradford away atmosphere of the season? I would have to say...the one when the home fans made some noise."
