Bromleys 450 is causing us some angst and I'd imagine is gonna cause a fair few meltdowns this season.

Wasn’t the allocation at Kingsmeadow around 700-800? You’ve some nerve! ;)

Allocation at Valley Parade remains the same - 2,750-3,100.

However, two blocks in the Midland Road will be more than sufficient for most teams - 1,200.

850 which is nearly double bromleys. I'm not having a go at them just pointing out how many on here will be unhappy

Know it’s only a difference of 50 but thought Bromley’s capacity was 5000 so had to be 10% of that?

At Vale you can have up to 3300 in the Bycars End if anyone was ever to need it.

Anyone who hasn't been in L1 or visited us the cup in the last 2 seasons should note our away end is the opposite side now, so you'd generally park in Dimensions and walk across the training centre to get to the back of the stand which is the furthest from the road.

The allocation is now lower as the Bycars is smaller at 3100 (dont expect anyone will sell it out which is a shame) so are usually in the corner where you can get prime close up viewing of our massive (its very massive) big LED screen which is in the corner.

Its poorer facilities, not sure you can get a beer inside the stand as the concourse is in view of the pitch but think they put a temporary away fan zone type set up to allow you to get a beer.

What that means is fans who usually come and go in the pub on the old away car park dont generally go there anymore (you hardly see away fans outside VP these days even when we had thousands down as they are the opposite side to the home and main fan zone).

I think the main away pub now is up in smallthorne but one of the more local Vale fans can probably confirm on that.

3900 isn't it? We gave Derby that last season.

No that was when the Hamil was still the away end. Gave them 3106 last season in Bycars. The SAG don’t allow us to sell the full amount of seats at VP.

Personally I couldn't careless our allocation at Bromley is only 450. I wouldn't go if our allocation was a 1000. It was bad enough going there in our non league day's so I'd give it a miss regardless. Playing at their place in the league and the cup in the space of a week is not ideal.

1,100 for us, though it can be increased to 1,536. Newport have apparently sold out for next week, but I don't know if that's just the 1,100 or more.

Naturally we will once again allow huge numbers to attend a game at Meadow Lane as a visiting fan. Less expected now FC Hollywood, Stockport have left and the Big Day Out is RIPd for this season.

We also like to stir the pot a little each season by varying the capacity for when a relative big and/or local club are in town. Just to keep things interesting.

The Bromley shithousung has officially begun. Is the away end still that crappy open bit down the side? If so, how the hell have they made that 300 people smaller?

Think it's around 1100/1200 at Blundell Park and if you don't need that you'll be squeezed into the corner and home fans will get the bulk of the Osmond Stand.

Notts once again running so scared of the travelling Town masses that you've resorted to underhand tactics by paying Sky off to move the game to a Thursday night this season.

Ours will be in and around 900, 990 at a push if you’re well behaved and we can reduce the segregation in the East stand corner. Generally will be just blocks 1 and 2 though

Blimey, even we will sell out at Bromley then #massive.

Our away end holds 1,958 but, if I remember rightly, when we played Wrexham last season they were only given 1,600 as the front two rows were cordoned off. Back in the day we happily gave Leeds and Millwall half the stand along the side as well to take their allocation up to about 3,000 but I can't see any need for that any time soon.

It's a real shame, both home and away support will be significantly down but as long it's as entertaining as last season and we win I'm fine with it

It is a good job we aren’t in League Two as we would be demanding three sides of the ground as we would sell it out.

That would make a nice change for Mansfield fans to get to have fans in three sides of a ground as opposed to just the two sides you have at home games.

You can’t even sell out 3 sides of your own ground!

In all seriousness, us two + Notts crowd growth in recent years post covid have been way ahead of the trend of much of the rest of the country.

I thought the majority of clubs have seen significant increases in attendances post Covid? Certainly Grimsby have despite being generally awful on the pitch

There are significant increases and then there is an head-shakingly unbelievable increase.

Perfect strom in our instance last season tbf but still very very impressive. The owners deserve it.

Yeah a lot of clubs have especially outside of the top 2 / 3 league, just I think some have seen a greater % than the norm

At our lowest eb in the NL we've been getting 8/9/10k some weeks - we didn't even get that the season we finished in the L1 play offs in 2016

We've sold 5500 STs this season too so fully expect that to maintain decent crowds regardless

Think we averaged about 6500 last season. Ten years earlier it was around 3500.

Sold 5200 season tickets which is slightly down from last seasons 5500.

Stockport, Wrexham, Donny, Notts and Mansfield were the only sides to bring half decent followings. Having lost 3 of those and only perhaps Chesterfield of the newcomers joining the better travellers I think our attendances will be slightly down unless we have an unexpected cracking season

What does the away end at Crewe hold? We've been given the full stand for the 17th. Not that we will need it at £28 a chuck!! WTF

Side stand around 1,600 - but they can also allocate the stand behind the goal. Takes the allocation upto 2,350 ish.

You can have both stands usually but get behind the goal if you can! The down the side one is horrendous!

Just down the side we have, so 1600. We won't need that given the prices but will still be 1k+
