Sums up our season. Kodjia is ridiculously good, even better when he's doing two peoples job. Wilbraham offers absolutely fuck all, how is he constantly getting picked is anyone's guess.

Disappointed not to get the three points but we will be fine this season.

Well, would of taken a point at the start... but so so frustrating, that's another game we really should've won. But then we really should've lost, which would have been an outrage.

Argh.

Fucking hell Ian, how does Steve's ass taste.
He's done it all season, pre season previews, predictions, highlight shows. Fuck the fuck off Holloway. We know you hate us, you know you hate us, so cut the nauseating bollocks you gashead thundercunt

Not like a derby game at all this, so slow-paced. First goal going to be key.

Few too many long balls for my liking but definitely looking the more likely. Why are all keepers having blinders against us?!

Need to get the ball out to the right more, Bennett's got Fabio on toast.

Why? Hamer didn't exactly pull up any trees when Frankie was injured
I think it's fair to say that win at Middlesbrough we can solely dedicate to Hamer, he pulled off 3 or 4 incredible saves, and then was dropped after?

Frustrating game that. Cardiff were there for the taking, but we didn't go for it if Cotterill's substitutions (or lack of) are anything to go by. Wilbraham again was blowing out of his arse after 60, was a perfect time to get Cox on, and he left him on sat on the bench.

Draw probably a fair result in all honesty, both teams had fantastic chances to win it at the end. Decent point - but it's no good unless we back it up with a win at home on Saturday.

As for individuals - I thought Bennett and Korey Smith had fantastic games, and Kodjia was outstanding again. Wilbraham was knackered after 60 like already said, and Pack had an off night.

A month ago we'd have lost that game, so I'm happy we've ground that out. Win now on Saturday please.[/COLOR]

I thought Pack had one of his better games.

We battered them, really did. When will we start picking up the results? Don't get me wrong, we're improving with every game but it's so bloody frustrating.

Onto Fulham I guess...

Well no, he was dropped after the Burnley game when he was decidedly dodgy. And I'm not sure dropped is the right word: he was only in because Fielding got injured, it was still Fielding's shirt. The onus was on Hamer to do enough to displace him not the other way round.

And for me, bar a great game at Boro, he was very hesitant (and even in that the first great save you mention only came about due to a massive mix up between him and Ayling). Frankie has his brainfarts but one thing he is is decisive. If he decides he's coming for it he comes, and if not he stays on his line. Whereas Hamer was very uncertain: being right behind in the South Stand you could see he was constantly half coming, going back, edging about - that's what causes nervousness in a defence. It's no coincidence we suddenly became vulnerable to set pieces during his run in the side.

I know it's based on a short period. You could put it down to a lack of games, getting to know a new defence and that would be fair - I'm not completely writing him off. I just don't think he did enough to displace Fielding in the side, and don't see why Fielding deserves to be dropped. I think he gets an unfair amount of stick and has done perfectly fine this season

I hope all the Bristol City fans got home safely tonight. Looked one hell of an atmosphere on TV this evening.
Sad, isn't it.

Surprised just how poor Cardiff were, and how negatively they set up. Such a slow tempo, sitting so deep and didn't really even try and break on the counter either. The only times they looked like doing anything were when we gave the ball away in our own half (which was still a bit worryingly often)

Amazed how they're up in 8th. Shows what a class keeper and good CB pairing can do I guess.

It's really not a fantastic division. Step up from L1 but there's no real standout teams, a few pretty good ones and a lot of much of a muchness. Fine margins.

Really do think if we get that bit of luck, couple of things go our way we could go on a real run and storm up the table.

Next three games could be big for us. Fulham and Wolves at home, then Bolton away. Realistically any of the three could be winnable.

Happy with that performance, just frustrated yet again at us not getting the points that we could be getting.

Only wish we had someone like Gray or JET to partner Kodjia. He won't be with us for long.

Wasn't bad in our end for the limited numbers we had, and surprisingly everyone stood, which was a pleasant change.

Didn't help in the home ends that you had 14,000 Cardiff fans spread across a 33,000 seater.

What's the reasoning behind the upper tier being completely red in a blue stadium?

I mean, if Tan was that committed surely he'd have changed the whole lot.

We are sooooo close to being a very good Championship side. Much as I despise the man, Holloway was right tonight, put another finisher in that team alongside the Kodj and we could fly! We're that close.
Cardiff were, as my dear old dad said, 'efficient, with the creative cutting adge of a cow's arse'! Don't you just love octegenarians? He was spot on though. They were very matter of fact with naff all cutting edge. Hard to beat, certainly but extremely ordinary.
We have nothing to fear in this league IMHO and are a sniper away from doing some serious damage.

first half was pretty evenly balanced although i'd say we shaded it, that could be down to rose tinteds. Second half we were the better side and on another day could easily have taken the 3 points, however cardiff did threaten us a few times. Atmosphere wise, those of us who went didnt stop for the whole game, its just a shame that less than half our allocation was sold (although i respect that some didnt come because of the shitty restrictions) and wasnt helped at all that cardiff barely sold half of their seats

We will be fine fellas. This will make my fellow reds sleep well, a comment from a Crapdiff fan from their forum...

'To be outplayed at home by a Bristol team struggling near the bottom of the division is embarrassing. If it wasn't for marshall, we could have lost by three or four'.

Sleep well fellow Cidereds.
