Florian Bellanger will, undoubtedly, play some part.

The Frenchman makes Cupcake Wars (Food Network) worth watching, and can replace that gentle, avuncular nature that will be missed in Mary Berry. Not only that, but Bellanger also - of course - provides an air of Parisian sophistication which could provide Bake Off with the fresh angle it'll need to hit the ground running on Channel 4.

Thinking about the way Bellanger and the more earthy Paul Hollywood might bounce off each other is already making me piss my fucking pants.
