Bantams vs Latics

usually our passing is a lot better, we had a shite night at the office last night.

Just had a quick view on the Oldham forum again.....

Jesus, there are some very, very confident Latics on there. Most of them thought they were the much better side, despite the fact that they weren’t in the game for large parts (IMO), and they amassed less shots, less corners and saw less of the ball - and to be fair, we didn’t play anywhere as well as what we have/can do.

I get it, though, they’ve won a few games and they’re not particularly used to it. Couple of defeats should bring them down a peg or two.

First 15 minutes was Bradford, scored a belter and our defenders made some great blocks. We then took control IMO and had a period where we were constantly in your half and it was Doyle's turn to make a couple of saves and (I think) Thompson made a great block from you. Shortly after that we scored a very good goal of our own, and the half probably ended quite even. I felt we were the better side in the 2nd half without really causing Doyle too much trouble, probably lacked a bit in the final 3rd. A lot of your shots were from range which I think is what led to the high shot count (19) and high corners due to blocks, but you only had 2 on target.

I enjoyed the game though and we more than held our own though. Draw was a fair result IMO, like you say there's a few giddy Latics fan atm so dont take us too seriously!

We definitely didn't look to stick 10 men behind the ball though like Bantamigo suggested we would do.

Yeah i think that's fair enough, fairly even overall don't think either can complain at the result. Credit to your support as well very good for a Tuesday night and made some noise, in terms of your support and team performance you were well ahead of most we've played at home including Blackburn.
