Another tough game, Barnsley were smashing out the wins before a 0-0 draw at Orient last night, while we're unbeaten in 9, winning 8 of them.

Not sure if Grayson will re-introduce Humphrey for this one with Beckford making way, wouldn't surprise me although I'd be more than happy to see us name an unchanged line up.

Probably around 3,000 nobbers making the trip, with the vast majority wearing their bowler hats for gentry day. I'm getting into Leeds about 11am, drinking there and then getting the train to Barnsley as late as possible, I remember the train station being really close to the ground.

I'm both looking forward to and dreading this fixture. Looking forward to a cracking atmosphere with a decent amount of away fans for once, and the fact that we're going to truly find out whether we're serious about the play offs. We weren't great last night but that was largely down to Orient battling for their lives, and we still got a point and clean sheet out of it. My worry is that if Preston have us on the ropes they won't be as profligate, and I've a nasty feeling we'll get the bumming that we're probably due after our recent brilliant form.

Would be very happy with a point from this. Don't think we'll get one though.

Probably a nice problem to have for Grayson in this game.
Drop Beckford and bring in Humphrey and be slightly more cautious, or go for the jugular against an inform team and leave our lineup unchanged.

No doubt if we lose, most fans will claim the formation Grayson didn't choose would have been the better one.

Nervous for this one though, big following, big game, most PNE fans will know what's coming. I'd be happy with a point.

Peterborough were on a bit of a roll, before Tuesday night....and are actually a very decent team; but we blew them out of the water, without ever having to shift up through the gears.

We won't get any training related injuries this season I think, they were all doing yoga (or 'injury prevention' as Alan Kelly called it to me) and do it most days. There's an unreal team spirit down there as well so I can't seee too much going wrong.

I expected to fall under 3,000 to be honest, lots of good away games at the moment so it makes sense that we would average out around 2,000 rather than everyone just turning up for one big game.

I went to Deepdale on Boxing Day. We were horrendous. I can only assume Preston were having an off day as they weren't much better and only won thanks to a ludicrous penalty awarded to a diving Scouse get.
