Just a temporary thread, will request it to be deleted when answered, but can anyone remember BBC Predictor?

I just looked for it, and noticed it's now been deleted, would like to have a go at one, is there any other websites that do this?

Thanks.

Used to love doing this, couldn't believe it when they ditched it a couple of years ago  I've searched half-heartedly for something since but with no luck, would be greatly appreciated if anyone's got something

I used to love doing it to. City used to win the league by 10 points, when in reality we were close to the relegation zone :(

Would like to have a go at another one - usually do it at the start of the season, screenshot it, and then laugh at how wrong I was when looking back at it at the end of the season.

Remember when we went down under SOD I still managed to find a way to keep us up in April :fl:

Haha, I had to stop doing them in the end because I was convinced we would not lose for the rest of the season! I'm to much of an optimist for that shit.

Yeah even when I tried to be realistic I always had City winning every other game!

Well I ended up with:

1. MK Dons 97
2. Bristol City 97
3. Swindon 86
4. Preston 84
5. Sheff Utd 81
6. Oldham 69
7. Bradford 64
8. Peterborough 62
9. Doncaster 61
10. Rochdale 59
11. Fleetwood 59
12. Walsall 58
13. Scunthorpe 58
14. Port Vale 58
15. Barnsley 58
16. Gillingham 57
17. Crewe 56
18. Colchester 54
19. Chesterfield 52
20. Notts C 49
21. Crawley 49
22. Coventry 48
23. Leyton O 46
24. Yeovil 46

Autos won't be as clear cut but other than that think that's actually pretty realistic!

Based on the league so far make your prediction then enter the opposite result and it'll be more accurate!

I didn't bother with GD but the Blades certainly get pretty close and I would guess at a Blades v PNE play off final.

I couldn't be bothered to do the goal difference bit, but here's mine:

107.jpg

Bristol City maintain their slight advantage to win the league fairly comfortably. The final day sees MK Dons, Preston, Sheffield Utd and Swindon face a four-way battle for the 2nd automatic promotion spot. However, all four teams win, meaning that MK Dons go up to the Championship via their superior goal difference over Preston.

The battle for the final playoff place is equally as interesting with Doncaster, Bradford, a resurgent Peterborough, and Fleetwood vying for that 6th spot. A win for Doncaster on the final day would secure that 6th place, which they do by winning at home to Scunthorpe, whilst the other three sides all draw away from home.

The relegation battle sees Coventry, Crewe, Colchester and Leyton Orient all trying to stay up on the final day, with Crawley and Yeovil both relegated already. Leyton Orient have to win away at Swindon to have any chance of staying up, but they lose, so they're also down. Coventry would secure their League One status with a win at Crawley, but they lose, so they have to rely on results elsewhere. Fortunately for them, Colchester can't capitalise, as they lose at home to Preston, meaning that Crewe stay up regardless of their result at home to Bradford. They draw, and see themselves and Coventry survive by two points.

To be fair there aren't many games you'd predict Bristol City to lose from here on in. Obviously they'd struggle to get 104 but I worked it on the basis that the higher team wins, don't think I had too many draws in there either. I don't think we'll get 63 points either or finish that high, but so be it!

To be fair the best two sides I've seen this year have been City and Swindon, so it's only right they finish top two!
