No longer a heavy drinker....haven't been for quite a few years. One of the benefits is that I have not had a hangover in many years. I enjoy sitting at the weekends watching the football, Soccer Saturday, Sunday games with a bottle of red vino. While I was working I stopped drinking through the week (couldn't handle the tirdeness) before work days but now I have retired I can have a bottle through the week if I so wish.....and you know what ?............Today is one of them days.......

Are you on it ? If so spill the beans....

was up till a year and a half ago a vodka & DC with lager chasers drinker Dirk....always knew my limit though but due to circumstances I had to cut down. Enjoy a cider occasionally....Magners or a Scandinavian brew...Alska which is tasty.

Wilkins farmhouse cider made in Somerset is always waiting for me in the kitchen on a Saturday night for the football. My missus goes shopping in the afternoon and brings me back a 4 pint takeaway from my local pub,some days i quite like her

It's a Japanese lager, one of my favourites.

Looks interesting. Is it brewed after the german purity law from 1516?

My favourite beer is Einbecker. It's a Lower Saxonian Brewery 40km from my home. They are brewing beer since 1378 and are the "inventors" of the "Bock-Bier"



The picture shows the special "Mai-Ur Bock" which is only brewed in May.

Tbh, I'm at the age and lack of body development now where I can't drink too much lager or cider....don't want to become plumper than I already am....not a fatty but I've got a bit of a belly as I really enjoy my grub....

I've had them little bastards before after the Mrs refused to get rid of a bunch of flowers that were clearly on the way out.

Attracted hundreds of the little swines.

What pissed me off most was when I put my glass of wine down on the side to go out for a cigarette, I'd come back to 5 of them dead in the glass!

Oh it was unbearable. We got a bunch of bananas the other week from Tesco and I think their eggs were on them and also there are trees with berries on just outside my flat and they must have been flying around them too and got into the house. Anyway after a thorough clean, a few traps, a bit of Raid and some incense we are once again flea free.

On a similar note.......a few years ago I was sitting watching the football enjoying a voddie & DC. Same as you, put my glass down & away to do something....came back, raised my glass to my mouth and at the last second went Aaaaargh! There was a fucking fair sized spider in my glass!!! Bastard!
