I didn't go so only read about the game. I saw that there were about 40 fouls or something daft, so a proper stop start game. Poor refereeing surely?

I read that we should have had a penalty as well. Going to watch the highlights later on today.

Was a really poor game, made all the more dull by a shocking refereeing performance (for both teams). The game was so stop starty it was like watching an internet stream!!

We completely abandoned our recent good style of play and got drawn into a ridiculous contest of hoofball, the QPR centre halves lapped it up, we wouldn't have scored all week playing like that. I actually thought QPR looked quite dangerous on the break, aside from some pretty woeful finishing I thought they could have run out quite comfortable winners on the day.

Hopefully a blip on what Monk has been getting out of the players, maybe the weight of the 'no win' starting to play on their minds, not the ideal way to head into the international break.

Crazy you played to just pump it long. Our defence makes a sloth look fast so if you just got it down and had runners in behind then you would have been in on goal. And we had a young keeper playing so putting crosses on him would have worked.

On a side note, were our fans loud at all? Or pretty average/rubbish as normal?

Agree, looking at the QPR defence it was crying out for pace in behind, which we have in buckets, by chose not to use, strange.

The atmosphere was terrible to be honest, neither side gave their supporters anything to get excited about, I wouldn’t sit here and criticise other teams fans for being quiet though when the vast majority of our own support sat on their hands throughout the game, myself included.

Yeah it was a very scrappy game and the ref never got a hold of the match, was stop start the entire 90 really.

Yeah you had a penalty claim but on the replays just looked like wells slipped really, Morrison was lucky he did as he made a mess trying to play the ball back.

We also had a penalty claim as Jota was barged over in the penalty area but he did go down easily tbf, I thought our claim and yours were no penalties.

Was a very poor game that you probably just edged, you looked slightly more threatening where as we never looked like scoring.

I’m hoping that this was just an off day as we have been playing FAR better than that. We need that first win and we now have to wait another 2 weeks for a match.
Frustrating.
