Hamer absolutely brilliant (despite being written off after 3 games on OTIB), defensively sound, and we had countless chances in the first half. Really could have wrapped it up early on.

I think we can compete if we sign 3-4 top class players. It's just bringing those players in that's the problem.

What a performance. Could of been three up at half time. Second half rode our luck, and hamer (still looked a tad dodgy) produced a couple of great saves. They all worked so hard. An absolute credit.

As for the 412, I'd take every single one of them over the thousands that will no doubt travel to Brum. Didn't shut up all game. One of the best away days in quite a while.

Now for a night out on the Toon. Safe trip to all that travelled.

Can't blame people for electing to go to Brum over Boro, but I agree our fans today were also.

Although, I also expect that if we are winning at Brum, they'll be noisy also.
