well gather the turkey sandwiches and the hangover cures and get stuck into these.

We have a localish game for once, I think we got Exeter (A) last year :ffs:

Anyway - we have dropped a few points of late, so we need to be looking to win this if we want to stay in with a shout of the autos, but Stevenage will rightly have other ideas. They are mid-table in terms of form over the last 6 so not to be taken lightly.

We’re expecting to appoint a manager today, which hopefully will add some fight to the Exeter game.

But unless he’s taken training today and we just haven’t announced it, I can’t imagine much to change. In truth, I can’t imagine much to change even if he did, after 1 session.

Exeter v Rovers is usually a good game, but with the form we’re both in right now it could be the worst in years

Great Boxing Day game for us 4th v 5th we are flying and improving week by week , but we always choke when a big attendance is due 3 v 1 to Stockport with a late 3rd to seal our fate.

Reading away. Free hit for Kevin Nolan in his first game, not entirely sure what he can change as he’s inherited an injured list which currently stands at SIXTEEN players. Reading are stumbling since they’ve lost Selles but they’ve got a good chance to get something against us, barring any sort of bounce, but I can’t see what stamp Nolan could have put on the side in three training sessions. He’s said he’ll make changes but then again there’s not a great deal he can do as the bench was full of kids on Saturday.

On the whole, I think Reading will beat us.

Rovers @ Home - Complete sell out, so fully expecting us to be dog shite, and lose 3-0.

We've won our last three against Shrewsbury but prior to that, our record against them was a bit sketchy.

I suspect Sir Gareth got them competing better, bit more physical and bit more streetwise so I don't this'll be quite a 6th vs 24th kinda game.

Jackson and Hamer aside, we're in a pretty decent place squad wise, which will help going into 4 games in 9 days (a ridiculous schedule!). Bayliss goes back to his former side but is still making his way back to fitness, he wasn't in the squad at the weekend and hasn't had any league minutes since September I don't think.

You're unbeaten in ten, have a little confidence man

I'd be bloody delighted with a draw right now.

Mansfield away at peterborough, away end sold out as you’d expect.

We’ve reading away on sunday also.

For me both are free hits so anything would be a bonus

We've got a Elliot out for a few months and he's a huge miss, especially at home as he gets more of the ball. Mbengue hopefully back at centre back. Hunt really needs a win here as he's got off to a poor start and questions are being asked in some quarters.

Should have enough to win though.

Creepy (H). Our record against the tinpotters from Gatwick’s arsehole is dire, but we do have the advantage of an extra couple of days rest. They looked shattered when Brum finally broke them down last night, so hopefully they’re a bit broken come Thursday. If they come to E10 with a similar well-structured defensive outlook we’ll struggle to break them down. Looked like they had absolutely fuck-all going forward, mind. I’ll take an ugly 1-0.

Crawley at home on Boxing Day for the third time, I'd expect one or two changes with the busy schedule coming up.

Despite our good form, we're still short in the attacking areas for backup and I cannot see Agyei and Kelman starting all three games, but I reckon we'll go strong for this one though. Dom Ball will likely come back into the team after his ban too.

Loanee Jamie Donley's form has also picked up in recent weeks and Wellens has been keeping him in the team, I was hoping we'd send him back in January because he's been a waste of time up until a few weeks ago, so will be interesting to see if his good form continues.

Would expect Crawley to have more of a go than they did last night.

Please wear them down even more for Sunday.
Probably unfair to be asking them to play 3 games in 6 days, with a long trip at the end of it, but it's the sort of situation we need to take advantage of.

Blackpool are one of our historic bogey sides so not sure what to expect today. After two games that just feel like missed opportunities we need to get back on the front foot and get a win however we can before our momentum stalls completely.

I dont do boxing day games. Too many family commitments.

Few weeks ago I would have fancied this. Now, too many injuries, illness in the camp and no rest since the last game causes me lots of doubt.

Mukena back from suspension and hopefully Tanimu back from illness may give us a defender on the bench which is a bonus. Plus Quitirna and Heburn-Murphy returned from injury v Birmingham so we may have some attacking options as well.

Here's hoping.

Decent start from us. Number of changes made and we don’t look leggy. Just shading it so far I’d say.

Excellent goal from us. Couple of wonderful passes in the build-up. Not been a bad game, really; two sides trying to play football at least. Ref is abysmal - booking Wollacott for making a good tackle particularly egregious. Next goal crucial.

Very strange line up for us today, looks like there’s illness in the camp. Will have to see how things pan out.

And so it proved. Crawley gone completely to pieces since we doubled our lead. Could be anything if we discover our long-lost shooting boots.

100%, confidence is shattered in what I think is a very able yet fragile side.

It's not often I will decry a teams performance but we were awful.

Our forwards were non existent. Our midfield appeared to have accepted a bribe not to turn up and I have no words for how bad that defence was.

I fully expect usvto get relegated this season after the balls up in the summer but there is such a thing as professional pride. Our players showed none in that game.

What a goal from Mullin. One of the best he's ever scored for us.

Cheekily 3-0 up at peterborough after half an hour, will take that, good lord they’re defensively hopeless.

Typical can’t make it!

Two goal keeper errors just what you need in a relegation battle. Pathetic.
