Only three points separates us going into this after the preseason slitting of wrist predictions from the Carlisle lot, I’ll say we have enough to win tomorrow but our dire centre mid gives literally anyone a decent shot at beating us this season.
Bowyer never ever ever plays our strongest available 11 but a return of Paudie O’Connor and a first start for Callum Cooke would see just that although I don’t trust GB to do so, expect someone useless to start in the middle.
Steven Pressley returns after branding us as playing ‘dinosaur football’ under Phil Parkinson, something maybe he should’ve tried after all the success it brought us whilst he got the boot from Cov.
Prediction, slightly optimistic 2-0.

After back to back away wins I’ve took the plunge and decided to do my first away game of this season. After the dire away performances and money wasted on away days under Pressley last season I didn’t expect to be at one so soon this season.

That said, our 2 away wins this season came against teams without a win. This will be a different level of difficulty and I fully expect we’ll be turned over. Pleased Devitt isn’t fit as he’d have a field day taking pot shots from distance with the amount of space he’d get in the areas between our back 3/4 and where our midfield actually is.

My head says... Bradford City 4-0 Carlisle United

But preying for a miracle. I’d take a scrappy undeserved flukey 1-1.

We’ve played the team I hoped for so no excuses now in terms of playing our best side.

Well we saw you were struggling so thought we would give you a hand.

From the sounds of it on the radio it was a moronic decision by Bridge to foul the way he did when already on a booking, but then the Carlisle players were furious because Bradford had committed two fouls similar to Bridge's two bookings and not been booked for either.

Absolutely pathetic defending from us for both goals, particularly the second.

I thought we edged it until the sending off but when you can’t defend for shit you’re always going to struggle.

Game over, damage limitation second half.

Deserved win, but made hard work of it. Idiotic red by both teams. Entertaining game nevertheless.

Good luck for the rest of the season, you won’t go down talk about ott prediction by some of your lot o_O

I thought while both teams had the same number of players a draw would have been fair.

Bradford deserved the win for dominating and winning the game while 11 v 10, something we failed to do midweek.

Not much to add that hasn’t been said, think we overly panicked after our red, really good numbers and backing from Carlisle.

We were poor first 30 mins until our equaliser then we well on top. Our midfield finally started to get on the ball and controlled the game. Callum Cooke is a class act, as is Dylan Connolly. When Bowyer plays our best team we're going to take a lot of stopping

Fingers crossed Byron Webster’s reoccurring head injuries whenever Carlisle are under pressure heal quickly.

Total wanker! His manager looks dejected, his team are losing and he’s got a big grin on his face winding the fans up. Defend better next time mate, it’s easier to bate a crowd if you’re actually winning or good.

Scum supporting prick!

All your goals should have been disallowed

I know he was sent off today but how's Bridge doing overall Carlisle fans?

For the most part he's just been quietly effective, besides taking our penalties he's not had the biggest impact but earned a place in the first team nonetheless. Was much better midweek against FGR though which was more a game to his liking.

Watching the game back, the referee looks to be absolutely loving pulling the red card out for both sendings off. Looks like he really thrives on having the opportunity and power to end someone’s match.

Regardless of whether the reds were merited, it really pisses me off seeing this type of thing. You’d think he’d scored a goal the way he runs over to both players with a big smug grin on his face.

Definitely got bullied at school that ref.

Mike Deans the worst for this sort of thing.

I think both were reds, I’m more annoyed about the goal we had disallowed that from a refereeing point of view, a free kick against us (which was the outcome) was last on the things of what should have been awarded.
So granted these new rules say deliberate or not any touch of the hand is a free kick, fine I get that, not though when it’s been handled because you’ve been rugby tackled in the back from behind which isn’t deemed a foul (therefore a pen), which no one officiating called until Carlisle went all Man Utd on Andy Durso. That’s giving the benefit of the doubt to say it 100000% is a handball, which the linesman didn’t see and the red didn’t blow for and the clip even now isn’t exactly crystal clear as to what body part it does actually come off.
