Can't say I understood a single word of that article

Apparently we'll be able to buy our season tickets next season with a picture of Spongebob Squarepants, which represents a bit of a price hike, so they can fuck off. Or something.

Sometimes see Crypto and NFT’s get mentioned on social media and tried to understand how it works but may just be me being dumb but I still don’t get it. No judgement on whether this would work for Bradford or not as I don’t know but would be wary of this if it was my club personally.

Rumoured to be £15M. What will they be buying exactly? We don't own the ground or anything. I think the current owner paid £6M so he's made quite the profit if true.

I have never got into Crypto and I have never even attempted to understand what an NFT is, but I am very well aware of Daryl Morey as I have followed basketball closely for a number of years. He basically is the guy that really caused basketball to fundamentally change the way its played, now basically huge volumes of 3 pointers and layups. Essentially he is the ultimate moneyball / data driven type guy, he has taken it to the extreme.

I have no idea how that translates to football, as I am sure more and more clubs are getting involved in football analytics (Notts County owners have an analytics company I think). But the idea way of trying to grow revenues I find interesting. One thing that I do agree with, with normal ownership you can essentially guarantee a consistent loss of 500k / 1m per season in and around L1 and L2 and perhaps the odd moment of success. Going at it from a completely different way, one way outside of my level of understanding to me is going to be really interesting to watch. Whether it works or not is another matter.

If they're paying 15m then that's already the first red flag.

This seems to be well down the line and whilst the whole thing sounds easily disastrous, the names involved such as Morey are quite exciting having read into them, if this did work it could be massive for us.

Bradford fans have already turned from scepticism to ‘we’re gonna win everything’ mode then

Those involved doing a live chat on Twitter now, meeting EFL to take over in next few weeks with plans to spend in January, Statsbomb are already confirmed by one of the guys on Twitter. Saying this the quotes being said are scarily similar to the mad German who single handedly
ruined us a few years ago.

One of the guys said "Get the club back to the Premier League" so would assume it's us.

"We've already been talking to Netflix."

Oh come on. Someone's just on a wind-up.

Well that was the best 38 minutes this club has given me in years, even if it is just a wind up.

They certainly say all the right things and it sounds exciting. But as usual with these things, actions speak louder than words.

Sat here listening to Hulk Hogan's theme whilst drinking a Dr Pepper.

In all seriousness, I really have no idea what to think. I have no idea who these guys are and we've been had by chancers in the past.
