Jekyll and Hyde performances in our last two and wouldn't like to call this one. Lots of localised flooding so hopefully it's on, more so because there are a number of tributes planned for our all time record goal scorer Bobby Campbell who passed away last week

Bradford 2-0 Northampton (Nakhi Wells 15, 78)

I'm sure he'll find a way to score somehow

Northamptons promotion momentum seems to be almost all gone now, Bradford should win this.

Would be more than happy with survival. Bradford, Bolton, Vale, Dale, Oxford, Sheffield United, Bradford, Bristol Rovers and Scunny as our next 9 games. We could be in a slightly more perilous position come January.

I think your early season form will be enough, although I was surprised at your lack of cutting edge at Priestfield a couple of weeks ago.

Also how is Anderson getting on? Already seems to have done more for Northampton in a few months than he did here going by a few telly highlights; I wanted us to give him a go but he was far from being a guaranteed starter and we couldn't justify his wages for someone warming the bench

This is going to be my first visit to Valley Parade but i couldnt be less positive about this if i tried.

We have been really poor the last few weeks and the negative way our team sets up is starting to really annoy me. All the momentum from last seasons form has gone.

Anderson is an odd one, hes chipped in with 4 goals I think so far but he drifts in and out of games so much. Was expecting more tbh but hes not terrible. Lack of pace is a big hindrance however.

Can any Bradford fans recommend any boozers of eateries?

Going for a dull 2-0 loss. Is Hanson playing? Dominated us at Wembley, still have nightmares about that day!

Hanson is expected to start, shame Clarke Carlisle can't come out of retirement to (try) mark him!!

Just head for North Parade for the boozers, about 6/7 to choose from and only 10 mins walk from the ground. If you fancy a curry The Sweet Centre is 5 mins from the ground and one of the longest established curry houses in the UK.

Sounded like we were pretty unfortunate on Saturday at Southend (there first goal was blatant handball) as we were always chasing the game and got hit with a couple of sucker punches. Albeit Southend look a good team and might be a good outside bet for the playoffs.

We are strong at home (16 unbeaten in the league i think) and there will be a lot of emotion pre-kick off as the Bobby Campbell tributes kick in so it will be a massive disappointment if the players don't respond and get the 3 points.
I think we might squeak it 2-1, Hanson to get the winner!

I don't rate him to be honest, I just don't think he does very much. He doesn't deliver many decent deliveries in to the box and I think his occasional goals are hiding that

I'm at the wrong end to judge but Bradford fans seem to think the second penalty shout was a stone Waller. We've had the odd half chance but been under lots of pressure. Mark Marshall causing loads of problems as he's staying so wide.

Some of our fans being typically idiotic. Shouting attack as we defend a corner etc. Would take a point now!

Wow, just wow, that pen in the first half! A pleasing win but frustrating that we can't kill off games that we've controlled for large parts, should've been a steady away 2-0er or so instead we're throwing McArdle on when the kitchen sink was launched late on

A lot of people getting annoyed at Page now and rightly so. Momentum is so underated in football, that and luck are two key things to the game. Its not very often we have a championship winning team, Page has near enough destroyed it with his rebuild of the squad (10 new signings) and freezing out 3 players who played 100 league games between them last year. All that after stating and I quote:

'I'm going to encourage them to keep playing in the manner in which they did.'
"You don't want to change too much when they're full on confidence – if it's not broke, don't fix it, so let's get them back in for pre-season.'

Then we have his post match interviews which sound like a priest realing off the same lines every sunday, how hasn't he got bored of them yet? His one liner remarks such as 'I back the lads one hundred per cent' 'we go again etc' totally contradict what he has done today, dropping Smith after a couple of mistakes. I wonder how Gorré and Potter feel after being rejected for a LB at 1-0 down?

Now in no way am I saying he should be sacked, but I can understand why people are calling for it. I'm so annoyed in the rebuild and the complete change of tactics without at least trying to give last seasons tactics/players a chance first.

Northampton looked ordinary, very much a team that has come up and run out of momentum.

This wont be eased by Rob Page making excuses all the time. Reading his post match interview I'm not sure he was at the same game last night.

Page with the infamous and infuriating "we go again" and the "my lads give 100%"

Has he got to the stage where you play away from home... create zero chances regardless of opposition form yet?

Mind you Bruno is morphing into Page quickly!

How did you guess? Its almost like whenever you sign a player/manager you should talk to the previous fans first. They are correct most of the time.

We did ok last year but kept bottling it under Page every time the top six became in reach as away from home he'd be so negative or we just didn't seem mentally strong. Clearly had his favourites and signed loanees then rarely play them.

We just got bored with him hence although we had a decent season last year it became tedious (away especially)

Beware of one thing though the year before we beat Coventry in early March... 48 points with 11 games to play and we nearly went down! Picked up six points the last three being second last game of the season!

Mind you Bruno is like a Portuguese version! Same dire away form!

LSBantam,

That clip made me laugh because it looks such a 100% penalty.

But watching the replay in slo-mo it looks like your player is starting to fall down before the tackle comes in.
It's as though your player is anticipating the challenge and already decided to fall down.
Although as he's falling down it does look like contact but can't tell properly from this angle.
