[Libertadores FC]

Bauza is well known for a cup team. Won 2 Libertadores (With LDU and San Lorenzo)

I'm not totally familiar with how he does in a league, I'm not sure if he's the one who won the league with San Lorenzo before going on to win the Libertadores, but his style is more for a knockout cup than a league.

Bauza was hired because of his retrospect in Libertadores and we actually got way further than expected but until now I'm not that convinced with him in the league. I think he didn't win anything other than Libertadores with San Lorenzo but if I'm not mistaken he was the one to classify them to Libertadores. Probably his only league trophy as coach was with LDU. Brazilian championship is kind of more disputed than Ecuatorian's and Argentinian's though. Not expecting him to won the league as in the path things are going is almost impossible but at least a place in Libertadores 2017 that sincerely still seems hard by the league but who knows by Copa do Brasil or Sudamericana that's more his style. Anyway is discouraging to see São Paulo in the middle of the table so close to the half of the championship. For so long we don't do this bad and the team is playing so ugly with Bauza's schemes.

Figueirense 1x0 Vitória
Despite trying hard and having the advantage of one more player for the most of the time Vitória had many defensive fails.

Sport 2x0 Atlético-PR
Sport is pointing to a good phase as is Diego Souza growing with the team.

Atlético-MG 3x0 Santa Cruz
Great performance from Atlético with their main players shining at once.

Fluminense 3x0 Ponte Preta
It wasn’t as easy as it seems for Fluminense but Cícero in an inspired day solved the problems.

São Paulo 2x2 Chapecoense
Chapecoense practically had us in their hands. Again an awful performance. Only not a defeat because Denis saved well and Cueva called all the responsibility to himself to tie it. Anyway our midfield is being so bad in articulation and locking all our game with a plus of the other sectors not excelling too.

Santos 2x0 Cruzeiro
Santos is in a good search for the top. Cruzeiro again in a change of command still have difficulties to find themselves.

Internacional 0x1 Corinthians
Corinthians reached the leadership and that’s always worrying for the adversaries seeing their retrospect on past seasons but still playing average and far from as good as they used to be anyway the organization left by Tite is bringing results yet.

Coritiba 0x2 Flamengo
Coritiba tried to risk on air balls but nothing effective while Guerrero is rising with a good sequence of games scoring now.

Botafogo 3x1 Palmeiras
Palmeiras is each time more in slide with the scheme broken by the miss of important players for the Olympics. After eight rounds leading it with excellence. A pity our calendar is so prejudicial.

América-MG 0x0 Grêmio
A tie is far from the results América needs but at least this time they played well and were able to block a good team like Grêmio.

Would you consider Cueva to be the best player now that Ganso and Calleri are gone?

Actually I don't think in the current moment we have a best player. With Ganso and Calleri departure this place is just a hole 'cause we don't have players to cover them at the same pitch. Cueva is doing good and was very decisive on the last matches though.
