Not the most inspiring thread title ! Beer makers v Shoemakers then. Jimmy Floyd is keen on us winning the league 2 title and Chris Wilder's team still have an outside chance of the play offs. Rarely for us its an all ticket match. All the home allocation of seats is sold out(around 2,000) but I will be surprised if we get more than 5,000/6,000 in. Northampton hopeful of bringing 500 plus.
I doubt Shrewsbury will slip up at Cheltenham so I think it is unlikely the Championship trophy will get presented tomorrow if we win. We have only ever secured a title away from home in our history and I think if we do manage to win league 2 we will have to wait until the following week at Cambridge. Albion fans would seem to be thinking the same as I think we have already sold around 1,000 tickets for the trip to the shabby stadium.
There is no danger of taking our foot off the gas or losing focus after securing promotion last weekend and Northampton will be up for the game too so I'm expecting it to be very competitive and close.
