Well we're beyond terrible, and they're unbeaten and 3rd. Only one way this game will end up, 2-0 home win.

Well there's my pessimism done. Honestly I think we have a decent chance here. Even though Rhodes was injured on Tuesday for the second half we played really well and were unlucky not to come away with all three points. Koita could prove to be a really shrewd signing, and a Rhodes/Koita or Delfouneso/Koita front two could be enough for us to survive, or at least enough to win a game eventually.

Another draw I reckon, keep the unbeaten run going. Hope to see Jamie Murphy get his first start.

Delayed by 15 minutes due to a plane crash at a nearby airshow apparently.

7 dead, 14 injured.

Great start to the season for Brighton. What were pre-season expectations from your fans and have they changed as a result of your unbeaten start?

Not at our absolute best this afternoon but another solid win, had to grind it out against a pretty awkward and direct Blackburn side. Kaz on the scoresheet once again, and a complete menace throughout, which bodes well. Murphy promising on his full debut.

In response to the question on expectations above, I think most are staying realistic as despite the fact we look a much improved outfit on last season in terms of tempo and organisation, the goals aren't exactly flowing still (which was comfortably our main issue). Need to be able to kill teams off when we're on top.

Should be aiming for top half, maybe pushing playoffs based on our opening performances I think - will have a better idea of how good we are (or aren't) after our game at Portman Road next week. Should be good.

Great start for Brighton but you look at the teams they've played: Forest, Fulham, Huddersfield and Blackburn. Wouldn't expect any of them to be up there. As you say, the Ipswich game will give a better idea of your promotion credentials

Yep, and it's just been fine margins that we've been coming out on the right side of so far. Ipswich, Hull and Wolves are 3 of our next 4 opponents which will probably tell us more about how serious a bet we're looking this year.
